Hagg to the Oilers at 37 overall is a fantastic pick. They should be ecstatic if the draft plays out that way in real life.


Theodore to Carolina at 35 is also fantastic value, IMO.

Was going to probably take Nastichuk (best name in draft), but he was gone. Came down to Bigras and M Bowey.

Murray should consider trading a number of our smaller players to teams who are going to draft small players like Petan, Lehkonen or Subban for their picks. He could deal any of Conacher, Condra, Pageau, Da Costa, Wideman & Prince who are further along for their picks & try & draft some bigger players that we could develop into potentially better players.

Teams don't draft players because they are small. They draft them because they are good. Just because they were going to take a small player doesn't mean they would trade that pick for a small player. That is just foolish
