i find it funny the split up oli and harrington in this scrimmage, i was hoping they would be paired together

I'm kind of disappointed in Seymour. I know he's not a great prospect, but he's way more passive than I'd hoped.

I was there today. The kids that looked the best were pretty much as I expected.

I will say that the biggest surprise to me was Troy Josephs (our 7th round pick from this year). He was one of the more noticeable forwards in the offensive zone just because of how hard he was working.

This is pretty much what I saw as well:

Ian Altenbaugh ‏@IanAltenbaugh
Troy Josephs looking like he possesses a Matt Cooke starter set in terms of skillset. Fast, physical F1 forward.

Josephs is creating a lot chaos. Pens might of got a good one real late in the draft.

I went to Milano's after it was over & got a cheese Pizza. Ate way too much & now I don't feel good but anyways here some of my observations.

-Murray went to the Fleury school of goaltending.
-Pouliot & Maata are our two best prospects & there is little argument to be made other wise.
-Blueger made a sick no look pass on his knees that lead to a goal but he also got clocked twice because he played around with the puck too much.
-Payerl He's big. That seems to be the extent of his ability.
-Jarry some one needs to tell him this isn't 1980 his pads don't have to be that small
-Ruopp Dude can hit. Has to be the best hitter in our system.
-Marcantuoni- The only forward I was really impressed with. Yes Megna looked good but I Macaroni was better. Skating, stick handling, shot. Wouldn't be surprised if he has a break out year.

Looks like Jarry's had those pads for a while, they have an insane amount of puck marks on them. They must be from when he was 15 or 16.

Pouliot has the highest ceiling without a doubt, but I think it will take him a little longer to get there then the rest. He had moments of brilliance, but he also made more mistakes than the other D prospects.

I liked Maatta and Dumoulin as a pair, I thought they were both really solid. Harrington looked strong as well.

-Payerl He's big. That seems to be the extent of his ability.

He's huge. I saw someone on Twitter make a comment that he's built from cement, but so are his hands

-Ruopp Dude can hit. Has to be the best hitter in our system.

I thought McNeill threw a few big hits, too. At times it looked like he wanted to hurt someone. (And I'm fairly certain he did give Kuhnhackle a bloody nose )

-Marcantuoni- The only forward I was really impressed with. Yes Megna looked good but I Macaroni was better. Skating, stick handling, shot. Wouldn't be surprised if he has a break out year.

I'm a fan of his. I thought he looked good today. His speed is really impressive and that goal that he had assisted by Pouliot was great. (Both the pass and the shot).

Megna looked good, too. I thought Kuhnhackl and Uher had some nice moments as well. I already mentioned that Josephs was one of the more noticeable forwards in my opinion.
