Trying to scalp the Coyotes - Blackhawks game tomorrow. Watch it. It's basically a home game for the Hawks.

I'm really glad to see that two of my favorite unknown players are getting a chance. Mike Kostka for the Leafs - 1 assist and about 22.5 minutes of ice time in their game, including some power play time. I saw him a lot when he was with the Amerks and he looked like an NHL defenseman back then (2010-2011 season). Generally he keeps it pretty simple but he makes quick, poised plays that help his team build momentum and possession.

The other is Cory Conacher, who was undrafted but played well at Canisius. About the size of a Gionta, and he is diabetic so he has a hip pump. Tore up the AHL last year to win rookie of the year and MVP, and notched a 1g1a game in his debut tonight.

Oh, and I have both on my dynasty fantasy team.

But they can show Minnesota highlights for 10 minutes including a full Parise interview where he only talks about how incredible the crowd was.

Slap in the face after slap in the face. I'm really disappointed we didn't get to play him at the Rock this year. Hopefully when we do, he will have begun his decline already.

zach parise will keep it up hes playing like his oldself again

I don't expect him to keep it up. His style of play breaks down quicker than you might think.

it was more of a dump on the leafs and the media hype machine in toronto. general thought is he has potential but they will ruin him in his progress like others that have endured before.

I'm calling it, Philadelphia doesn't make the playoffs this season.

I wouldn't be surprised.
Buffalo not showing too much rust, not as much as most other teams, but the Flyers looking pretty terrible at the moment.

Holmgren isn't afraid to blow up his roster, though... so I can't assume they'll keep this look much longer if they keep it up.

Obviously, their forwards are pretty dynamic... but they're not getting a lot of good opportunities to do what they need to do.
