Tampa Bay will kill any goaltender. If Lundqvist, or Quick were there they would probably suck too. I still expect Tampa Bay to be one of the top teams in most goals given up again.

I still have no idea how Roloson managed to have such a good season there. It was no surprise when he came back down to Earth.

Not to hammer the point any harder than it has been.. but when was the last time a respectable defense played in front of a Tampa goaltender?

They score more than enough goals to win hockey games... but it's swiss cheese going the other way.

Haha yup, and that was the only year they've been any good since they fired Torts, and drafted Stamkos. I didn't catch the whole game, but I wonder if Guy is still playing the 1-3-1!?:shakehead

Just they year Roloson took them to the ECF. So it's been 2 years ago. They did have a few brutal goaltenders there. That guy Holmqvist or something? He played there when we last played them in the playoffs. He was bad, and maybe the main reason we beat them in the first round that year. Who else played for TB the year Roloson came? He came midway through the season. Was it Nittymaki? He played there one year.

Wait what?! Parise scored on a onetimer slapshot?! What the F?!!

Btw, I can't put it into words how much I despise that weasel! I hope he goes Gomez on them. Hate the Wild!

I've liked Harding for a while now, and I'm glad he got his shutout after being diagnosed with MS. It was good to see, but I still don't see them winning much. Scored 1 goal against Dallas's backup. Scored 4 against Colorado who isn't really any good either. I think they could make the playoffs in 48 games, but hopefully they'll miss.

You're knowledge of useless and obscure goaltenders is sickening...

What is wrong with people today? His wrister is weak, not his slap shot (not that it`s that much better, but still).

You almost never see him score from that far out though.

There's a difference between being 'weak' and being something you actually score with. Colin White had a pretty decent slapshot but he never scored with it either. Parise scored some two hundred goals as a Devil, if more than 10-15 of them were outside of ten feet I'll be floored and if that many goals were scored on a slapshot I'd be even more surprised.

Don't forget everyone's favorite crybaby Mike Smith. He put up a sub .900 save percentage there.

I'm only talking 5 years ago here!

Tampa Bay really hasn't had a great goaltender since Khabibulin, but I still don't think it's the goaltending that's been the problem. Watch any game of theirs. They struggle mightily to clear the zone.

Speaking of Parise snipes, and Tampa Bay, I remember him scoring a good one last year against them. It was against Garon, and it was back in February. I was up for the weekend, and went to that game. Real snoozefest of a game too. I remember another one from far out against Carey Price last year. Those were the only ones from far out from last year I remember.

His shot sucks. Doesn't matter what kind it is. It doesn't need to be good though with the way he plays.

His shot is better than his passing abilities which is odd when you consider his point production.

Philly's the same way. As long as they continue to believe that goaltending is their issue, they're gonna be giving up goals.

I don't think they're as bad as Tampa, but yeah same situation though not as severe. I feel bad for Bryz. I kinda like the guy, and he was good in Phoenix, and even for Anaheim he wasn't bad.
