Seidenberg left the game last night, and it doesn't sound good:

Coach Claude Julien said that it could be known today whether the injury would be short term or long term. He came out for the second period and skated gingerly, then returned quickly to the bench and was unable to play again. Seidenberg was walking on his own after the 5-4 overtime win that concluded the Eastern Conference quarterfinal series, but with a noticeable limp.

“He wanted to (continue), but when he couldn’t, it was better to take (him) out than to make it worse,†Julien said. “It wouldn’t have helped us, plus, it would have made his injury probably even worse.â€

Difference between being an objective hockey fan by thinking your rival will win and actually hoping for your prediction to come true..

Speaking of the Rangers, seems like the Kings took a page out of their playbook and had the streamers coming down after their playoff win last night. Do they do this every game too? It's like a plague that's spreading, whoop it up over one playoff win Especially the Kings, their standards should be higher than that. You want to do it after a series win, fine with me - after each game is a bit much.

I'm definitely worried about the Bruins running out of gas. That was an extraordinary first round series but they might be due to flame out now.

I'm more concerned with their injuries on the blueline.

I'm not trying to hide being a Sharks fan as my avatar shows. If you watched the game it was just easy to call. Quick was very in the zone, and the Sharks couldn't really get any bounces to go their way. I also called Lundqvist getting a shutout in game 7 vs the Caps sometime during the 2nd period.

Nothing weird about making predictions. I think the Rangers will probably win the series against Boston too. I'm just not displaying in my user title, or creaming myself over some guy like Zuccarello who was passed over by how many teams? And not even tendered an offer this past Summer if I remember correctly?

I never said having a title with a series prediction is prohibited. It just seemed a little in bad taste by feeling the need to advertise in your user title that the Rangers would win their series in 6. The team that is your favorite teams biggest rival. It just seemed a little weird.

And Quick stood on his head, but the Sharks didn't have many second opportunities, and couldn't get a deflection like the two crap changing direction goals the Kings scored. Typical Devils goal against. Including one that went off of Richards body 11-12 Clarkson style.

Barfo used to announce on like the 4th string crew for NHL on ESPN games in the early 00s after he retired. He was incredibly unbearable, and I remember being so happy when he was hired to coach by the Pens because it meant I wouldn't have to hear him anymore.
