Clarkson could only do so much. He was picking up the slack for Zajac and Henrique in the beginning, and he finally slowed down. Zajac overall has been awful this season. I look at this season and find nothing redeeming, nothing. Maybe Lokti?

Larsson has taken some more key steps to being the player we want and need him to be. Ummm...good stuff in the AHL with Bouch and Merrill. Add Loki and ya I think that is the only pluses to take from this season.

Zuccarello has been back for 11 games. What are the boners for him all about? He hasn't even been quite as hot as Clarkson was during his first 11 games this season.

Has he been better than Clarkson his last 11 games? Who the **** hasn't?:shakehead

Larsson has gotten his balls back in the last few games, but it was very up and down for him. I didn't like how he was handled at all this season.

Lokti is the only gem of this season. 2011 had some redeeming qualities. This season was a mockery, but considering the NHL is a joke, I guess it shouldn't be surprising.

You don't have to like how he was handled, but I think his play has improved though. He looks better then last year, and I like the way he handles the puck. I agree with how I don't like how he was handled though.

Greene was another bright spot. Overall he has looked very good this season. So if anything out young defenders have looked good...just not the old ones.

Why would someone randomly come in here to post how Zuccarrello is 10 times better than Clarkson? That was just very random, and I can be random at times too, but I've never dropped into the Rangers board to say Stephen Gionta is 10 times better than Rick Nash.

That's cause we are obsessed with comparing ourselves to the Rangers

I was waiting lurker would post something like this.

Zucchero established 30 goals/season winger.

Only time he ever went past the 30 mark in a full season, was with Frisk in 2006/07. He's a decent offensive thirdliner, and good on the PP team, but let's not kid ourselves, Zuccarello would not "save" our offense in any way, shape or form.

I wouldn't mind him on our team, but he's not what we should be going after for our top 6.

Sorry, but Zucc is 10 times better than Clarkson.

What new madness is this? This one might have to go into the file along with such gems as "Dubinsky is better than that talentless slug Zajac" and "Kovy is going to be a Ranger because he had a twinkle in his eye".

the islanders look unstoppable these days

edit: bruins are priming up for a first round exit, unless they play the leafs because the leafs just suck.

Points for everyone!

At least I don't really care at this point though this is the best result if you don't believe in the tooth fairy (i.e. the Rangers actually losing to Carolina/Florida, in addition to us running the table, in addition to Winnipeg losing another couple games) and just want to put the squeeze to the Rangers.
