Assuming Philly wins tonight, that's 4 teams we would have to pass to make it. Just not feasible with all these 3 point games. That's not even taking into consideration the abomination that has been the New Jersey Devils.

If you want to entertain faint playoff hopes you foot for the Jets to lose. If you think that ship has sailed, then you root for the Jets to win so they can catch the Rags and we can put the nail in the Rags coffin.
It really is two teams we would in theory still be chasing, maybe 3 if you think Buffalo will keep winning games. If Philly wins tonight they pass us, but we have a game in hand and we play them Thursday so they would be in the rearview again by Thursday if we actually...you know win games. Correction it is just two teams if the Bruins beat the Sabers tomorrow as we would be 2 points behind the Sabers with two games in hand
The long shot is basically we win out, and we would need the Jets to lose I think two games, and the Rags lose 3 not including the two we would have to beat them I think.

LOL at the Caps being up 4-0 on the Leafs. I know Reimer isn't playing but that's still pretty hilarious and embarrassing at the same time for us.

The Caps have been pretty damn good since the Ovechkin hat trick against us. That might have been their turnaround win!
With the Flyers likely to win, we are 7th! Good stuff!If Tampa wins only 1 point in front, but they have a game in hand.
Between the Devils and the Flyers I don't think both of the teams have missed the playoffs in the same year going all the way back to the Devils 1st year..

Lol I meant after we couldn't score to save our lives against Toronto last night, for a team to put up 4 on them less than 24 hours later shows how horrendous we are.
caps putting 4 up on the leafs, let me go check the shots on goal because last night leafs fans were claiming how getting 13 shots on goal was good strategy.

All I know is that the devils deserve a 6 game winning streak and at least a hail Mary chance of making it. They play too ****ing hard to be losing like this and its not right. I still think it was bull that Toronto got rewarded that late power play when they couldn't even be bothered to show up for the game.
Only shot we make it is by winning out at this point.. so really makes little difference if Winnipeg wins tonight, because we should pass them regardless if we do make a miracle run.
