I want the Stars to win because they're not a playoff team, but I don't want them in the lottery. Likewise, the Ducks are a good team so I'd want them to lose, but not too much as I don't want them in the lottery either.

That's my Detroit reasoning as well. LA, I want them to lose. Columbus deserves multiple lottery picks.

Anyone watching this Ducks game. 10 goals and we're getting into the end. Hopefully the Blues can score in regulation but this has been a very crazy, and very entertaining game.

And both teams have at least a point. I still don't think the game is going to a shootout.

And Clowe Me, after watching this game I agree. I'm a little more concerned when the Sharks go play the Blues in a little over a week. Sharks didn't do well against them last year at all, and this year I'm almost expecting the same result.

Well in that case I meant to say we're gonna destroy them.

That's bold.

Anyway, if you all get a chance, pay attention to Justin Faulk in Carolina. Kid is only 20 years old, drafted in the second round in 2010, and he's playing like a legit #1 two-way defensemen. I've seen him three or four times this year, and the numbers back up the eye-test. Special player going waaaayy under the radar in Carolina.

Not a surprise. He was playing like their #1 last year too. Amazing considering that was his rookie season.

And that he was a 19 year old defenseman drafted in the 2nd round. Kinda like Vlasic-quick development.

Personally, I think he should make Team USA in Sochi barring extreme regression. Sadly, I bet USA Hockey goes with more familiar faces. I love Jack Johnson to death for all that he's done for USA Hockey, but I doesn't deserve to make that team.
