People saying this will be a boring off season are wrong IMO, think it will be interesting because we need to make trades to really do anything. Which I suspect they will, if they don't than yeah it's gonna be boring.

Much rather make some hockey trades than sign UFA's lol.
 
I'm surprised so many teams are interested in Coburn tbh. He's a really average defenseman. I remember that one game last season where Nash skated circles around him. Hoping he stays in the division.

he is a good 5th dman. he is a bit overrated and overpaid although i have seen worse.. if he is plays top 3, that team needs help on defense badly
 
Boyle is better than Clutterbuck. I rip on Boyle a good amount but he's fine in a 4th line role and steps up when it matters.

I'm assuming we won't have money for Clowe now?

for some reason i have a feeling Sather isnt going to do much :help: i hope i am wrong.. get rid of the dead weight...

is that a bad thing? 3 concussions during this season, and he would cost another 2nd rd pick if we resign him..

I assume Clowe is gone and someone pays him too much for too money yrs. It always happens. Bright side is the Rangers wont overpay someone this yr..........right?:laugh:

I do agree Boyle is useful in a 4th line role but I would get a cheaper 4th line option. IF someone offers a 2nd then I think you have to take that. Clutterbuck may get a 2nd plus so it may not be crazy to think Boyle can get a 2nd. 3rd for sure

Sather better worry about trading for a 1st round pick in this draft if possible.... i doubt Bruins would trade Seguin to NYR but stranger things has happened.

That is why you are not the GM of the rangers. It's all about players that can drop the gloves AND win fights. Boyle can play hockey. He sticks up for his teammates and is respected by them. He has gotten better on faceoffs and is solid on the PK. Give it a rest.
