NICE , once again the habs don't make a deal , miss out on ryan,

we are so fricken scared to make a deal, but hang on too every 3.5 foot player,

i am so sick of this, make a deal, make this team , quit being scared, take your panties off, and make a deal

Are you aware that 28 other teams also did not get Bobby Ryan?

For christ's sake man.

tell me how the sens didnt destroy habs?
Are you okay with making the playoffs and getting destroyed in the first round year after year? Thats failure

Offer a suitable trade that would beat Silverberg + a 1st for Ryan and we'll see. Just complaining about it without any tangible alternative.

We didn't even make the playoffs last season. How are we getting destroyed in the first year after year? Our core is young. Gal, Subban, Price, Gallagher, Tinordi, Beaulieu. That's how we're going to win a cup. Not overpaying for free agents.

Dany Dubé just said on RDI that the current rumor is Talbot and Coburn in Montreal... Gionta and more in Philadelphia.

No way PHI is dumb enough to take an injured Gionta. I'm going to guess this is not going to happen.

You do realize that Bergevin not signing anyone today doesn't mean our roster is set until October, right?

are you going to keep saying this till september 31st ? What assets are we going to move ? i'm all for addition by substraction but what do you think the market is for soft humunculi like DD and gionta ?

Yannick Weber scouting report:

Has a bomb from the point, might be a nice pp specialist but he obviously never had much chance in MTL because his offence was redundant. He's also pretty soft and a bit jittery.

Marc Bergevin to meet with media at 4:45

He pushed it back!!! OMG OMG

lol

Hope he explains how signing briere fits the :

- get bigger/harder to play against
&
- build via draft, not overpaying ufa's

philosophy he came on board espousing.

Hard to follow the consistency or logic in his moves the past 6-8months, hope he clears it up.

Dont know if the idiot is the one who settle for less

You're settling for less by insisting on taking short cuts. Takes a much bigger man in the GM chair to resist making stupid short cut moves (which is all we've done the last 20 years).

we could of very well had a package on the table for Ryan as other teams as well. Anaheim took the best package.

Hey guys. What do you forsee being involved for Coburn and talbot from your end? I'm a big fan of beaulieu, do you think he'd be a possibility?

Are you serious? Free agency started TODAY.

HF needs to start enforcing its minimum age registration requirement.

We didn't miss out on Ryan. We didn't have Silverfberg.

and what our prospects are crap,

the habs always watch other teams get better,

and habs keep saying , we won't over pay, and we get bounced out in the 1st round

ryan could be a 40 goal man, and the habs have so many of those./
