Nicholls was one of the top scorers in the Memorial Cup so far but his team was eliminated. Saskatoon seemed to be a far worse team than the other 3 in the tournament.

I have not had time lately, any updates would be appreciated

Nicholls/McColgan Blades team has been beaten pretty bad the last two games I watched. McClogan has easily been one of their best players. Nicholls has looked okay, not getting much help. Teammate Graeme Craig is 6'5 220, throws some nice hits, at that size impresses by keeping forwards to the outside skating backwards. He's 19, not sure if he's '13 draft eligible.

Seth Griffith a Bruins 5th rounder in 2012 looks really good. Talk about a team that has been great at the draft.

Nashville just signed the WHL scoring leader Brendan Leipsic. They picked him in the 3rd round last year with their 2nd of two 3rd rounders. Aberg, Sissons, and Vesey were their first 3 picks before that, and Zach Stepan and Mikko Vainonen were the two after that pick. In 2011 they didn't have a #1 pick yet still came away with some good ones including Halifax's Brent Andrews in the 7th round, he has caught my eye this tourney with very solid two way play at Center, has nice size and excellent on faceoffs. My point is, all those guys have had very good to great seasons post draft year, they found talent in almost all of their draft picks, regardless of where they were drafted.

That would be nice.....

Although the Rangers did pick St. Croix in the 4th and Noreau in the 5th. Hoping Fogarty can continue to develop.

Seems like a lot of teams have been doing well in the later rounds lately.

Well they are only there cause they are the host team. The other 3 were their respective league champions so its probably not uncommon for the host team to be the weakest

#CBJ officially send a 3rd-round pick to #NYR to complete Nash trade. It was a conditional pick. The condition: #NYR had to reach EC Finals.

If #NYR had reached the EC Final, #CBJ would have kept its third-round pick. Now it belongs to the Rangers.

Swap the Nashville and Columbus 3rd's for a mid 2nd.

Dubinsky,AA,Erixon and 1st rounder(#18 or #19)to Columbus for Nash and a 3rd round pick.

If they're gonna trade for a second rounder go for big Tyler Hill please.

Third round this Marko Dano kid talked about earlier intrigues me. Also, draft a goalie.

I think it's essential they try to get 6th and 7th rounder for Pyatt/Asham/Powe. Keep adding late round picks and swing for the fences.

Florida pick was 1st in the 3rd round. #62. The pick went from Florida-Rangers-SJ-PHX. Nashville pick is #65. Columbus is #75. The Rangers will be #79 or #80. It depends if the Wings beat Chicago.

#65 and #75 for ?.

I really hope we grab a goaltender. Guys I would hope for are Saros, Comrie, and Gracnar. If we trade up for a 2nd it'll be for Myles Bell. No way in hell he makes it to the 3rd. If we trade Del Zotto for a 1st then I wouldn't really care. Guys like Santini, Ristolainen, Zykov, Pulock are some to think about in the mid 1st. If we can get a top 10 then Nurse, Nichusckin, Barkov are essentials. I really hope we grab Barkov. If top 3 then obviously the best available.

Barkov, Nichushkin are probably both going top 5. Nurse would be a good grab, but I prefer to get Monahan if say MDZ is flipped for EDM's 7th pick.

I don't agree with trading MDZ though.

Really wish we were in a position to get Drouin. The kid is on an exponential growing curve. I've been suspicious of the QMJHL in past, but I think he's got it figured out.

Rangers have their 3rd,4th and 6th. They have the Nashville and Columbus 3rd's. The 1st was traded to Columbus for Nash. The 2nd was traded to SJ in the Clowe deal. The 5th was traded to Nashville for a 5th in 2012(Spelling). The 7th was traded in the Christensen-Wellman trade. The Rangers swapped Wellman to FLA for a 5th in 2014. So the Rangers traded a conditional 5th in 2014 to SJ in the Clowe deal but they have FLA's 5th. If the Rangers re-sign Clowe,it becomes a 2nd in 2014. The Rangers also have the Jackets 6th in 2014 from the Gaborik trade. They traded a conditional pick in 2014 in the Grant-Mashinster trade.

Keep the picks. Don't trade up. Rangers have loaded up on offense and D for a while now. They need skilled checking two-way guys like a lehtinen or Peca or Zamuner. Real shut down guys. Not this Boyle-Powe-Halpern BS.

Enough Americans. We have plenty of those and I'm greatful. Get some disciplined tough Western Canadians from the WHL.

The more one-dimensional scorers you draft, the more get blocked and never make it.

Patricks drafting in the 80s was brilliant without the high picks. Diverse players per draft year.

The org has a lot of skill but not enough 4-tool guys. Size, strength, smarts, skill. The team is low on smarts across the organization minus McDonagh, Stepan and Miller. Maybe Lindberg and Fasth as well.

lol on what planet have the rangers loaded up on offense? our offense blows

with the exception of kreider, all we do is draft two-way character players that are best fit to be depth guys but are forced to be top 6 guys cause we have no talent...

want to upgrade the bottom 6? improve the top 6 so you push hagelin down. hags isn't a top line guy but becomes a great 3rd liner. push boyle down so he's the 4th line center instead of the 3rd, etc.

To be honest though, MDZ has been terrible defensively and offensively muted. We need a better d-man on the PP and he hasn't really done that. He could rebound and trade Staal, but who knows.

Bud Holloway should get a 1 way deal from an NHL team this summer. I don't know if the Kings still own his rights, if not, NYR should take a look.

With salary caps tight around the league, teams will look to European players for scoring and low cap hits.
