Anyone just absolutely baffled on how DeBoer is handing this dman rotation?

For the first time this season it looks like he got it right for once. Maybe. We'll see of course.

Larsson said he is playing tonight. Tallinder said he was told to "be ready". Volchenkov and Harrold are still on ice skating extra.

THANK YOU BASED DEBOER

That's the correct decision. Glad to see he was watching the same things we were.

We've gone to OT enough to realize now that we're not far off the mark. Pete's coaching has kept us getting points, we're just missing some offense and under achieving big time on defense.

I'm sure that's why Lou hasn't jumped the gun, you heard him last year, getting zajac back was like a trade in itself, I expect the same thinking with Zubrus and Kovy.

Will their return be enough? If they can stop under-performing, it could be. I think the safest move would be improving the defense. An aggressive move would also be moving Clarkson. Let's hope he's doing something rather than nothing.

jeez, tbh it might be a good thing that the schedule is going to be a bit tougher this week and the rest of the way. considering the fact that they cant beat bottom feeders for some reason. but all we can do is hope at this point they can keep pace ahead and get healthy i guess.

@ToddCordell: The #NJDevils have reassigned Tim Sestito to Albany. He played well in his stint in the big club.

love zubes...but...yay, someone else who isnt going to score goals!:scared:

He'll help our puck possession which could help us get some goals. Not a humongous impact probably but it'll help. Kovy back would be a miracle though. I'd become a believer if he came back especially bc I'm going to the game Monday.

another thing becoming a recurring trend, is pattys shot selection. im not sure how to get into his brain and un**** or unpickle it, but hes gotta be smarter. how many times, i actually lost count at zero because im too lazy to try, but how many times has he had golden chance and he makes a bonehead pass to invisible arnotts or sykoras or have an open net or the goalies in the most vulnerable position(not back of vw related) only to shank it, or shoot it directly into the goalie then do the usual stare at the ceiling, as if doc brown was there to ok a trip 2 seconds into the great beyond before so he can take a better shot. then again, its almost as confusing as travtravs reluctance to use his great shot...but i see more of the head jerking from patty. what do they do at practice? bake?

shot selection?

Remember when Patty had a clear break on the net yesterday and through it backwards out of the zone? I do. He and Clarkson are playing like ass.

Have you thought about writing a novel?
