Just saw a video of the Devils talking about Valentine's day and Clarkson mentioned his wife and daughter. That reminded me of the TMZ video after the Stanley Cup game of him trying to lure those girls into a van. lol oops

I honestly thought he would've been a solid soldier for our 4th line/13th forward come playoff time. He had a important part in the CBA talks and now he's left whitout a job.
Hope someone picks him up sooner rather then later. Bob Hartley should've called Darche instead of Steve Begin but what do you want to do.

I really like these lines. Toughness and skill everywhere, and in theory they are all solid both offensively and defensively.
But when Zubrus is back, who comes out?
None of them can give their actual answer, which would have to be censored.

I'm now at the point where I think Deboer will literally just pull names out of a hat to figure out the line-up. We have too many pieces (aside from the one we still lack in a 1LW) that it's pretty difficult NOT to screw up the lines. So many combinations look great on paper.
Elias-Henrique-Kovalchuk could be a monstrous line.. not sure if I can remember Elias and Kovy ever playing together for an extended period though.

Rather have Josefson is the line-up than Matteau and that's not even close. Especially considering you're going to have Zubrus taking faceoffs when Josefson is a natural center.

I think Zubrus is our second best faceoff guy, honestly. He gets tossed out a ton though.
