Going by the lines during the scrimmage, it looks like it'll be this tomorrow:

Kreider - Richards - Nash
Hrivik - Boyle - Kristo

Staal - MDZ
Moore - Bickel/McIlrath
Falk - Johnson

MONDAY NIGHT ROSTER VS. DEVILS
Forwards: Chris Kreider, Brad Richards, Rick Nash, Ryan Bourque, Marek Hrivik, Brandon Mashinter, Dominic Moore, Darroll Powe, Brian Boyle, Danny Kristo, Arron Asham, Shawn O’Donnell.

Defensemen: Marc Staal, John Moore, Justin Falk, Aaron Johnson, Michael Del Zotto, Stu Bickel*.

Goalies: Henrik Lundqvist, Cam Talbot

*Bickel (back) sat out Sunday’s scrimmage. If he’s healthy, he’ll play Monday. If he’s not, Dylan McIlrath will take his place.

So, I'm thinking this means that the two Swedes have already made the next cut since it's supposed to come after the game and they aren't playing.

Where's Stralman?

Dom could be centering Powe and Asham. Bourque - 4C.

My lines for opening day (opinion):

Kreider-Stepan-Nash
Zucc-Richards-Brassard
Poulliot-Lindberg-Fast
Moore-Boyle-Dorsett

McDonough-Girardi
Staal-MDZ
Moore-Stralman

Hank
Biron

Think Asham, Pyatt, Powe all get scratched or placed on waivers.

Miller getting an injury hurts his chances of making the team.

Kristo needs some seasoning it looks like.

Hrvik is an interesting option but I don't see him generating many goals. He seems like a guy who creates more than finishes. We already have Zucc for that.

I think Fast and Lindberg both make the team and remain on the same line. Eventually when Hagelin and Callahan come back I think there will be some reshifting but as of now that's what I think our line up will look like after preseason hockey.

Apparently, half of the players remaining in camp play tomorrow vs NJ, the other half on Tuesday vs Philly.

I get it but to me Stralman would've stayed with Moore to develop chemistry as our 3rd pair instead of opposed to splitting them to play with 7/8 candidates.

Girardi, McDonagh, Staal, Del Zotto, Stralman, J. Moore (looks like AV already loves him) figure to be the top 6.

Where does this leave Justin Falk, Aaaaaron Johnson? Danny Syvert is probably Wolf Pack bound (boy, he was made look dumb today by Derek Dorsett when he beat him badly to the puck having to cover twice the distance and nearly scored SH in the Blue vs White scrimmage lol)

Just finished watching the TC feed.

It must have been the ice, but nobody could stickhandle out there. Sloppy sloppy hockey all around.

Vigneault said camp's first cuts will come after Tuesday's game at Philly. Expects to keep about 21 forwards, 12-13 d-men and 3-4 goalies

Miller, Dominic Moore, Rick Nash, Josh Nicholls, Benoit Pouliot, Shawn O’Donnell, Darroll Powe, Taylor Pyatt, Brad Richards, Michael St. Croix, Derek Stepan, Andrew Yogan, Mats Zuccarello

http://rangers.lohudblogs.com/2013/09/15/rangers-announce-14-cuts-8-to-hartford-6-to-juniors/

It looks the Rangers are keeping all 4 goalies. Cut 1 or 2 D but you know the Rangers top 7 D. 27 forwards are in camp. Miller is out with a hamstring injury. Kantor,Nicholls,O'Donnell and St. Croix are 4 probable cuts. Asham and Powe are playing tomorrow. Waivers begin on Thursday.

CAP PAYROLL: $65,071,667

When Cally and Hagelin return, a bit more roster movement (at least two players get demoted/traded) will be needed
No more Stu Bickel on fwd...
Like the depth

Biron is scheduled to make $1.3 million, Talbot $562,500... I'm no maths wiz, but is just short of $750K... Money for Stepan?

Either / or ... always believed a backup goalie... especially when you have the BEST goalie in the world... shouldn't make more than $1. Period.

id rather keep Biron but if they go the cheap route they sign Hedberg to a dirt cheap deal since hes getting paid by the Devils. Talbot in CT.

Biron to FLA makes some sense. Hes a good goalie and they nee a vet for Markstrom to team with.

Asham and Powe likely on waivers Thursday. Atleast Powe as I think Asham servies a purpose still. Thanks for the info Rangerboy

I thought he was noticeable in the scrimmage today - played a strong, physical game, not unlike Yogan.
Here's the only Shawn O'Donnell I found on hockeydb: http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/pdisplay.php?pid=106669 Is he really 25 years old?

yep, that's the guy, just finished Canadian university, barely played at higher levels, Probably will get a look in the Phila exhibition game, which are usually full of minor-leaguers fighting, as a two-way depth wing.

Then he'll likely be sent to Hartford camp, usually staff from Greenville is also there.
He is signed with Stockton of ECHL - http://www.stocktonthunder.com/2013/09/06/two-more-on-board/ -
but I believe he can be signed away to a higher league, such as by Hartford, who could then loan him to Stockton or Greenville

A Longshot for the NHL, but more mature than many on the Hartford or ECHL rosters

There also might be the odd good backup available on waivers for cheap... Biron has been letting in too many WTF goals over the past 2 years and his 5-hole must be a joke around the league. Biron is 36, Hedberg 40...

I think AV may not have informed Sather that he needs a backup to start 15-20 games, so he didn't go out and look for alternatives, instead inviting a 40 year-old Hedberg on a PTO because the regular backup left 2 days for personal reasons.

I want Talbot :yo:

Falk should be the #7, Syrvet, Johnson and Bickel with the Pack.

I think Lindberg may force a C to the wing. He's just on a roll the past yr plus.

I would have no problems with Brassard and or Boyle moving to wing, both transits real easily.

I think BR, Step and Lindberg are a little to stationary to play wing.

My lines:

Kreider-BR-Nash
Brassard-Lindberg-Zucc
Hagelin-Stepan-Callahan
Dorsett-Moore-Boyle

Good team.

Who's going to take Biron's full salary on when there's Thomas, Bryzgalov, Theodore out there as UFAs?

Am I crazy for getting excited about Lindberg? I really feel like the Rangers landed themselves a special player in that trade. What's holding him back from being a Zetterberg-type unexpected superstar?
