Don't see that from Kreider yet, wasn't overly impressed with him today seemed like more of the same. But I'm not writing him off, 1st scrimmage of TC isn't a good benchmark for a lot of players.
Im talking about what i have heard from training camp. I thought he was good today, going to the net and his line showed good chemistry

Fast looks like he could use a little bit of time in the A but good nonetheless. He didn't look as ready as Kristo and Lindberg. They looked fantastic.

Very impressed from a lot of the young guys. Lindberg looks good so far, mclrath is a better skater than i thought, kristo did pretty good, kreider looks like he is primed for a big year now that torts is gone

Dylans skating gets a bad rap on these boards. He is a big guy so he does not look like Marty St Louis skating but he is a much better skater than he gets credit for often.

QUOTE] Good Point. i thought Dylan's defense and clearing the puck was very good too

Lindberg looked great today! I was loving the quick puck movement up and down the ice, also really liked how both teams moved in the zone with the puck. A breath of fresh air. Things can only go up from here in my mind. I also can't wait to see what Stepan can do with this system, we really need to get into camp.

It feels good to be back with my fellow HF'ers, I hope everyone had a great summer.

From Hags little interview during the "game"

-On Zucc, “I am staying at his place. He is a great landlord. I’m doing everything for him. We arne’t cooking. He needs to figure some stuff out with the apartment. He doesn’t like to do stuff himself so I am helping him out.â€

I got a good laugh of of it..Could Picture it in my head...

shocking Jean didnt last too long... thought he would have made some impact... since Barnett got assigned, is this a sign that he will be signed to an AHL contract??? what about the other tryouts?? I am really glad that Kantor stuck around. i would have guessed he would have been one of the first cuts. Jason Wilson sent down early but didnt think this early....not much of a future in the Rangers organization...

Jean is hurt. Hasn't played since the first Traverse City game. Kinda hard to make an impact when you're not on the ice. Jason Wilson needs to become an AHL regular before he'll have a chance in any organization. Thought Kantor looked good and was on the ice a lot today. Should be a good player for the Pack. Solid undrafted free agent signing.

I think Lindberg may force a C to the wing. He's just on a roll the past yr plus.

With our injuries Boyle and Moore playing wing wouldn't be shocking.

Lindberg is too good defensively to play wing. I think if he comes up he stays at center and forces someone else to wing.

Essentially, that is the NHL Rangers and the AHL Wolf Pack right there. Love the early cuts by AV, weed out those that obviously don't cut it or are not there yet. No surprises with the first round of cuts.

Regarding Kyle Jean: "Forward Kyle Jean [...] was assigned to the Wolf Pack. Like Stajcer, Jean did not participate in training camp as he recovers from a shoulder injury suffered in the Traverse City Tournament for prospects last week."

Anyone know if the any of the remaining NYR TC players is not eligible to play in the AHL and would have to be returned to their Junior Hockey team if they don't make the NHL roster?

*Bickel (back) sat out Sunday’s scrimmage. If he’s healthy, he’ll play Monday. If he’s not, Dylan McIlrath will take his place.

would give us some real nice depth down the middle...last year we really didn't have any guys playing wing that could play center and really left us in a bind when richards faltered.
