Kings get enough hate as it is

Ott would be a much better fit. He's very versatile and can play a number of roles. That's the type of player most of us wish Lewis was more like and Ott does fit the mold of the type of player Lombardi and Sutter seem to be attracted to.

is Nolan healthy yet? if so, is he a healthy scratch when hes ready to play?
Nolan has lost his lineup spot to Clifford. KC has simply been the better player since the Olympic break, which was the exact opposite of earlier in the year when Nolan was playing well and Clifford was horrific.
I like the Ott idea. If you think threads are on the main boards are bad now... just wait!
King - Kopitar - Williams
Brown - Richards - Carter
Ott - Vey/Stoll - Toffoli
Clifford - Stoll/Vey - Nolan
Carcillo
I would rather have Pearson where you have Ott.
So no to bringing back Gabby?

I like OTT a bunch too but we just don't need him.
If we add Vey and Andy to our bottom 6 next season and start getting Sabs feet wet with the team by playoff time we could be beast.
I loved last nights line of Pearson/Carter/Toffoli.
Gaborik/Kopi/Williams
Pearson/Carter/Toffoli
King/Richards/Brown
Clifford/Vey/Nolan
+ many many other options. That looks dang good to me and I suck at line ups.

and people doubted and debated that Kopitar - Carter - Richards - ? down the middle would be a foolish endeavour. i've advocated this since day one. it spreads out talent into their natural positions and also helps to establish true depth in the line up. as LA fills in with the kids and possible UFA talent this will be the winning ticket to the playoffs and Finals, not just this year but for years to come.
the argument of keeping Carter with Richards, simply caused a log jam and under use of someone like TTT. now you add in Pearson, it would only cause further problems of slotting players. this has had a positive impact as well for guys like Brown and King that are moved into roles better suited to their abilities, rather than playing "up" the line up on a constant basis.
the player it will impact possibly the most and possibly the most positively is Richards himself. he will likely see reduced time against other top 1-2 centers, which will allow him to take advantage of less skilled and possibly bigger centers. this will save the wear and tear on him, game after game. i still believe the guy can and will rise to another level come playoffs. he is getting older and like other athletes will need to guard against the "age factor" they will face.
pearson - carter - toffoli have the the possibility of becoming a great line. It is a combination of well above average to excellent skills in all three of them, that in time as they gain chemistry and confidence will be a force. right now timing and chemistry is off and of the three i think TTT is having the most difficulty finding his niche. Pearson has been great to watch this past stretch, the game looks to have slowed down for him and he's playing "his" game - not just a game. Tyler sometimes looks hesitant and unsure of where to go in support of the other two, but its reps and chemistry at this point for him.

I also think Richards gets traded in the off-season.
