You're such a stereotype it's not even funny. :shakehead These guys are hockey players, not ministers. You don't want the guy to make it because he mocked the other team? You want the Rangers to be worse because the guy was being douchy? Get off your damn high horse. Hockey fans really need to prove to everyone what kind of great people they are by talking about how they like high character guys, it's really ****ing annoying.

What. The. ****.

Just terrible. Gillies was a sieve in the first. Eichel was putrid in the third. The US powerplay was a special level of terrible.

I didn't think it was possible, but international officiating is worse than NHL officiating.

What the hell was Buch doing at the end? And Gryzelec :facepalm:

He's a kid, he's in his teens. I'm sure all of you did stupid, immature things when excited in your teens and grew into relatively functional adults.

We should be happy Buch is doing well.

The most disappointing WJC game I've watched and it's not even close. (Only watching since 2010)

Well then how would we prove to the world what kind of great people we are that don't condone any kind of showboating? We hockey fans need to scream that from the roof tops!
 
What Buch did was disrespectful, but he's young. He'll mature.

On the other hand. The team deserved it. This game was pathetic.

one reason i wanted Steve Downie and i am hoping for Steve Ott depending on the cost... Rangers need some life when the garden is quiet

We never learn from our mistakes. We hype the **** out of prospects, and then when they turn pro everyone becomes stunned and hits the panic/trade button once they struggle (Kreider, for instance). Or, they don't work out at all and people's minds are blown (Grachev, for example). Duclair is looking like a real good value pick right now, but give the hype machine a break.

Well, the "30%" obviously assumes if he makes the NHL. Because it is asinine to peg him as an NHL'er already, he's in his first post-draft year. You need to calm the **** down, I'm not feeding into any damn hype machine.

Trade Buch, by the way ;).

Jordan Greenway is a kid from my local area who will be eligible soon, he and Eichel could be the next big things in U.S. Hockey.
 
Buch had a good game. Played very unselfish. He had an assist taken away from him on the first goal and should have gotten one on Zadorov's first goal.

Saw him make a few hustle plays as well.

Russians deserved that win, US was horrible in the 3rd. Another strike on the resume of Don Lucia. :laugh:
 
I just watched the Buchnevich taunt. Really? That's it? That's what we're all mad about?

God give me a break. Bleacher Report hyped it up to be this nasty gesture too.
