Agreed.

Man, if the Jets can grab a #1 WR in the draft and a few more pieces (mainly a #1 TE), they will be so much better. Get a G and sign another one in FA. Maybe land Charles Sims (RB) in the 4th round.

I want Mike Evans. Think he's the best WR in the draft.

Jets owner Woody Johnson announced his team will retain HC Rex Ryan.

I think its absolutely the right call. The players showed up for him the last 2 games. No one quit. Big statement.

Load up on offense. Have him hire the DB coach from the Ravens or the Seahawks to be the defensive coordinator.

Draft Evans/Watkins/Lee in the 1st round. Resign Nelson. Evans/Watkins/Lee, Nelson, and Kerley is a pretty decent receiving corps. Trade the 2nd and one of the 3rd's to get back in the tail end of the 1st round to draft a TE - Ebron from UNC.

Sign a veteran and good guard to take Winters' spot. That guy... no comment.

I guess Billal and Ivory wouldn't be the end of the world as our rb's. They did a fine job this year. Not a great or dominant job but not below average either. Maybe kick the tires on someone like Tate.

Resign Dawan. Sign another CB once you cut Cro. Resign Reed.

Not that many holes to fill but the ones that are needed are essential. Must draft best avail WR and TE with the first 2 picks.

Do you really want to move the 3rd for Ebron, though? Sefarian-Jenkins will be there at your 2nd round pick, IMO. You could probably move the 2nd and a 5th or 4th to move up to the top of the 2nd and grab someone, though.

Edit: Looking at current mocks, you may have to move up for either guy.

Actually, looking at mocks, Jets may have to trade up for one of the big 3 WRs.

May have to end up settling for Jace Amaro (TE) in the 1st and go WR in the 2nd.

Keeping Rex was absolutely the right move. I hope they extended him another year as well. He shouldn't be forced to coach as a lame duck.

Giants looking at the 11th pick.

Hope a good LBer is available there. Could get a gamebreaker (and it doesn't necessarily have to be Khalil Mack ;) )

LB or OL. Please no d-line. We can fill that later in the draft.

LB, OL, DL, OL, RB, risk/reward DB/WR

Is how I'd like our draft to go.

Wouldn't be opposed to bringing Hillis back. Need to bring Beason back. Will be sad to see Tuck go.

I'm warming to Mack. I think he's athletic enough to make a go of it as a 4-3 LB. Not sure if he'd be elite in a position like that, but he'd be a heck of a lot better than Barr would be.

I'm sure they will. His contract was up anyway, was it not?

His contract is set to expire after next season. Unless, of course, they extended him and haven't announced it. But if nothing changed, he'll be in his walk year next season.

Ahhhh, OK. I assume he gets at least a year added on.

I would hope, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if they let him play out next season with his current deal. Idzik will probably bring in a new DC that he's familiar with, and give him Rex's spot if the Jets don't improve next season.

Millner was in a youth spot ad everybody coronated him as the next Revis after he was drafted. He held out and had a crappy season until the last few games. I think the kid is legit.

Jets defense was a nightmare to play against this season. Get rid of Sanchez and Holmes, get Geno a WR and a TE and they should be back in the postseason in 2015.

The Giants are a mess. Lots of change coming, But sadly not with the staff.

They'll need another guard--two if Colon leaves. Hopefully they get Austin Howard locked up, or else there will be a hole at RT as well. Someone to play CF, like Reed was supposed to, would also be helpful.

Cromartie is a wildcard. If he's willing to rework his deal he could be back. Otherwise, he's gone and we need help at the CB spot. I like Milliner and he finished strong, but he and Kyle Wilson as the top two CBs would worry me.

The Giants haven't picked a LB in the 1st round since Carl Banks a skillion years ago. I think they don't buck the trend and grab a cornerback. Webster sucks and Olomu would be perfect alongside Prince.

Such a shame that useless wins will cost them a shot at Clowney or Barr.

The O-line is a mess. Baas is a bust signing. Beatty is Beatty. Boothe? Lol. Diehl is beyond horrendous.

The Jets could have 12 picks in this draft, and up to $48M in cap space if they cut Cro and Sanchez, among others.

Giants never had a shot at Clowney or Barr.

Mack is the one they might have a shot at.

But none of the three are "linebackers" they are all pass rushers.

Though Mack projects well as a SAM in an under front.

If the Jets cut only Sanchez and Holmes, they'll have over 20 million in cap space when you factor in the 2014 draft class. You can add Cro and that bumps it up to almost 35 million, and it would give Idzik a clean slate.

I like Cro. But the dollars might make it impossible to keep him if the Jets want to build a real contender as soon as next year.

In my cap number I factored in the Jets using a chunk of their 48 million to extend guys like Wilkerson, Kerley, Howard, Cumberland etc. so it should be around 30 million in free money with all draft picks signed/extended.

Cumberland kind of sucks. They should draft a TE and use Winslow as second TE or sign one in FA.

Cumberland is fine as a TE2. I'd bring him back. Winslow is a headache. He can walk. I'm sure they can upgrade the position through free agency.

Did I see that Fred Davis is an impending free agent?

Looks like NYG get #12 pick

Beatty's injury might shake up their strategy.

I hope Mack from Cle hits UFA & he's their #1 priority.

I want them to draft CJ Mosley but doubt it'll happen.

I'd let tuck go unless he's giving a discount

Joseph, Webster, Rolle, Snee, Baas, Myers can all go too

Beason is very overrated. God we are starved for a MLB.

I'd think about cutting kiwi depending on cap ramifications

This team needs to transition. I'd get rid of most of the veterans, especially on D.

The offense is a disaster

No #1 WR(think we all assume 88 is gone)

No TE(couple projects at best)
3 competent OL at best & Beatty could be worse now

No workhorse RB(22&35 both have injury & fumbling issues)

Reese has a mess on his hands
