I mean over the last few seasons. The Big 10 has slowly descended to bad.

I love how you bash the Big 12 but then make the point about A&M and Mizzou. Use your head here, man. The Big 12 is pretty damn good. Those teams sucked in the Big 12.

And LOL @ MSU going undefeated in the Big 12. Baylor hangs 50 on them. OK State or OK likely beats them, too (I assume one of them would win and one would lose). The problem with the Big 12 is that the teams always beat each other and limit the NC chances.

Are you kidding me? Baylor scoring 50 on MSU. That just shows me you haven't watched an MSU game this year. I've bashed the Big 12 defense, not the offense.

Total Defense
Team YPG
1 Michigan St. 248.2
2 Louisville 251.5
3 Florida St. 268.5
4 Virginia Tech 269.6
5 Alabama 274.7

So is Rex a goner?

I like him. Get a good DB coach. Load up on offense in the draft. Get some good FA's. This team should be good in the coming years.

That's my 2 cents.

Yes. Baylor scores 50 on MSU. If Indiana hung 28, Baylor easily doubles that. So maybe 50 was an understatement.

Go look at their schedule and see what "offensive powerhouses" that MSU played.

By just stats surfing you'd think that MSU had an elite defense. There is a lot more to football than stats surfing, however.

Why am I not surprised that Nassib is inactive today.

The one thing I can't stand about Tom Coughlin is his unwillingness to give rookies a shot. This game became meaningless weeks ago, why not give the kid a half to see what you got?

Indiana total offense was #9 in the nation. And they scored a late game garbage TD. Ohio State #7 in the nation in offense hangs 24.

Once again I suggest you go and look who Indiana was playing.

This is really not that difficult. The Big 10 is terrible. The teams are all pretty bad. Indiana was beating up on horrendous teams all season long.

The only "good" team that MSU beat was Ohio State. A team that made a living off of beating up bad opponents.

And again the Big 12 doesn't play defense. Not hard for Baylor to score all those points.

Please tell me that Brandon Myers is a free agent and won't return next year. How many INTs are tipped passes off his hands this year?

You're right. Oklahoma doesn't play defense. :sarcasm:

They hung 41 on Oklahoma (ranked lower overall than MSU but playing better offenses). I stand by what I said. Baylor dominates MSU.

Baylor doesn't dominate MSU. I don't think you understand how good MSU defense is. Darqueze Dennard would shut down any Baylor WR Dennard won the Jim Thorpe award for best defensive back. Will be a really good pro.

Dennard is a very good player. Not denying that. But he's not going to be an X-factor. Frankly, I bet that Baylor's D holds MSU to only a few points and they dominate them offensively. I don't even see it as that close of a game. That's how bad the Big 10 has been lately.

I feel like were just arguing to argue. I wish we could see them play in an 8 game playoff. But sadly we have to watch FSU destroy Auburn instead!

That game will be a lot closer than most think. Auburn is a live dog, too.

Auburn's got something on their side this year. So many unbelievable finishes, I expect them to get blown out but it wouldn't surprise me at all to see Auburn find another way to win.

FSU is a bit of a paper tiger. Another case of not playing anyone all that good.

I really hate college football sometimes. The ACC is so shallow. The Big 10 is so shallow. I wish about 40 teams were just gotten rid of.

You mean you're not a fan of the San Diego Credit Union Poinsettia bowl?!

Fumble or Inc Pass? I can't tell, doubt they overturn it. Anyone on this board at the game today? Looks miserable to be there. Ugly day today.

I hate all of this crap. I mean, I watch it. Don't get me wrong. I love watching college football, so I'm part of the problem I guess.

I would like to see two big power conferences. Merge bits of the Big 12 and bits of PAC and merge the SEC with bits of the ACC and bits of the Big 10.

Anything but what we have now.

A couple days ago, looked like he was done. Then yesterday the reports come out that he's likely going to be back. No word on whether he's back just for next season (the last of his deal) or if he'll be extended though. Either way, it's the right move. He's done well for the organization and has made the team relevant. There's no one out there that's a clear upgrade, and guys like Geno and Milliner are really starting to come around.

We have lots of cap space and a ton of picks. Next year could be interesting.

Agreed on all accounts. It's great that you have these bowl games on when nothing else is really on, but there's just so much mediocre talent out there. And look at the crowds, nobody goes to half these bowl games.
