So, don't trade Nicks at the deadline...just to bench him in the biggest game of the season because he didn't practice...which never stopped Plexico Burress from playing.

This organization is so much fail right now.

The level of mad the benching (if true) makes me would make Machinehead and Snowblind blush and cower with fear.

So mad that I'm at the point where I won't even swear.

There has to be more to it than that. Probably just Coughlin covering up for Nicks for some reason....right?

Coughlin needs to be retired at years end either way for simply still being too loyal to coordinators when all 3 should be fired

Don't think so since Nicks was pissed.

Nicks may of not been producing himself but teams still have to game plan to stop him which frees up time and space for everyone else. I just....don't even know what to say. I hope there's more details that comes out that doesn't make this look as stupid as it stands right now.

I'm with you Jonathan, I felt the Giants should of traded Nicks at the deadline but if you're going to keep him and stick it out, the guy has to be on the field whenever he can. Sure doesn't look good for the team keeping him and the Giants need all the draft picks and assets they can muster right about now.

Completely agreed.

Giants won't be keeping him, anyway.

We'll maybe get a **** comp pick. Probably not, though, since a lot of contracts are coming off the books and we'll have to be active on the FA market.

Tom Coughlin said Hakeem Nicks didn't play because he didn't practice all week.

@Giants_101: Tom Coughlin said the team made the decision not to play Hakeem Nicks.

not sure what to say TBH, the biggest game of the season, and you bench Nicks.

This is so hard to accept, considering how much fun this team was two years ago...and hell, even last year. But I guess that's the nature of the NFL...

The nice thing is I am going to win, for sure, one of my fantasy leagues.

The not nice thing is I was projected to have 110 points and will end up with about 40.

The guy I am playing forgot to set his line-up and has a bunch of guys on a bye.

My other league game I am feeling confident.

Only player left for my opponent is Ridley. I have Prater, Moreno, and Amendola left.

I have an 8 point lead right now.

Ridiculous to bench Nicks.

Coaches gotta go at seasons end. Winning against the Rogersless Pack, the Raiders, and the Vikings doesn't convince me that they're any good.

I would guess a tank job is in order now. W/ Dallas and Philly likely running away with the division, I can't see the Giants really getting up for too many more games knowing they're already out. They barely got out the first 6 games. Spark that was ignited will probably be extinguished now.

If ever was a time to rebuild its now. Get top value for Eli. Get a top 5 pick this year, probably can get 2 1sts for Eli. Start the rebuild now. Have Nassib. He's probably not going to amount to much but he helps with the rebuild.

Draft some competent guards. Draft some young guys for the line. Tuck is aging. How long will Jenkins play here for? Canty was cut last year. Umeryiora traded. JPP will be by himself. He needs help.

2-3 year recovery period? Think that's the route they should take.

I know that feel. Except the winning this week thing. Or being in first place. Just that I was projected at 127 and am currently sitting at 38 with only Frank Gore left to go. My opponent was projected at 100 and has 134. Losing by 100 isn't too fun.

Not that my team was great but I'm 6th out of 12 in points but 2-10 which is good for last. My points allowed would be the second highest total for points scored (30 behind the leader, who is ironically one of my two wins). No one can beat my luck. :help:

Victor Cruz, DeAndre Hopkins, and Eric Decker are combining for a whopping TWO fantasy points right now for me. Peyton Manning not helping, either.

34 points, now. If I hadn't started Andre Brown, i'd have 9 points.

My bench actually has double the points of my starters in that league. LOL.

I started my season (12 team league) 1-5 while leading the league in points. I have Aaron Rodgers and Arian Foster on my team, so I think you can guess how my team has done lately.

Started last season 0-4 while leading the league in points.

I think I could challenge you for worst luck :sarcasm:
