Buffalo is not a mediocre team. They have had some really close losses this year and have gone through multiple Quarterbacks. Keep in mind the first game the Jets played the Bills they were playing their 3rd stringer secondary players. Their front 4 has proven all year to be the real deal. Not to mention Buffalo played a very difficult first half schedule. Manuel is looking today like the QB Buffalo thought he would be when they picked him over Geno.
They are mediocre but so are the jets. one mediocre team was dominating today, one has gotten luckier more often this year. Both teams can go choke on a bag of dog ****
Smithchez has been back for 3 weeks. Nothing but a placeholder, a step on the path from center to RB.

Fair enough, technically speaking they are mediocre. But they are not this horrible team that people like to allude to.
They're 4-6. They're mediocre. Potentially good? Sure. But they're not, not yet. I understand injuries and a tough schedule. The Jets have had injuries and a tough schedule. They're similarly mediocre. Yes, Manuel looked good today. So did Jake Locker and Andy Dalton. You have a 50/50 chance of looking like a Hall of Fame QB when you play the Jets.
EDIT: No, they're not horrible. But mediocre, yes. Very few NFL teams are truly bad.

Fair point. Wasnt trying to say they were a contender or anything like that. But so many seem to think losing to Buffalo is a joke like they are some terrible team. Trust me after 13 years of no playoffs torture Im aware of some really bad teams, and right now Buffalo fans finally have something to cautiously look forward to in the coming years.
Ill say this, Im very surprised with the Jets D today, it hasnt been very good. Ive watched quite a few Jets game this year and the D has been spectacular at points this year. Surprising.
Every time the Jets play Buff I['m worried they've been the same exact team for years now. Dangerous enough to be a PO team and win games but somehow never able to actually win most games.
The Jets have now been the same for years too. Great D that bends while the offense breaks mostly due to the Qb being an unintelligent waste although I can't say enough about how much the Oline blew.. Imo this is worse than the NE spanking. With what they had on the line in this game to get abused like this off a bye week is just disgusting. Can't say enough awful things about this team right now. It took two years to catch up to him but Rex is just apart of the same old jets

Honestly its why I wanted EJ over Geno this year, and not even saying that because Buffalo ended up with him. EJ isnt as athletic as Geno, but his intelligence seems much much higher in general. Not to knock some of the good things Geno has done this year, but man when hes bad, hes really really bad. Im not sold on EJ being the answer in buffalo yet, but hes been much better than the Fitz's, Edwards, Losmans of the world we have had to deal with in years past.
Good call. Should have started the young guy, Nicks haven't touched the ball yet while Randle scored a early TD.

The Giants need to stop playing around with this team. I am so proud of the Defense btw. We haven't faced anything tough in a while but we look dominant right now. But common man. How much longer are they going to employ this bs option route offense. It is a HUUUUGE liability when you take away the deep ball which the Giants have. This is the worst offensive line I've ever seen the Giants have btw. Absolutely putrid interior linemen.
