OT: 2013-2014 NFL Thread II? (Giants suck; Jets play Monday)

I get why people say things like this, but I have such a hard time rooting for my teams to lose :laugh:

Like, I'd much rather have the Giants go 7-9 and get a middle of the road draft pick than go 3-13 to get the #1 overall. Both teams don't make the playoffs, so I get why some people think - well, what's the difference? But I watch the games to see the Giants win, ya know?

Just like I'd rather have the Rangers finish ninth in the conference than 15th... er, 16th now :)

I mean i'd love to go on a 10 game win streak and end the season 10-6, but finishing 7-9 is probably the worst thing that could \ happen to the team this year. Of course i'll be rooting for a W today, but at 0-4 consider me Downey for Clowney. :laugh:

And hopefully we can finally get some new coordinators if things go really bad.
 
did she mix that up? I think it should have been you have to fail in order to succeed.

I don't root for my teams to lose but sometimes I lose interest in a season when the play is just hideous as the offense of the Jets and NYR have been for awhile. Last year it wore me out and for the Jets especially I found myself not caring if they lost because then we'd get some good players. We got Richardson out of a sub par season and he looks like a monster. The Giants could use a good draft thats for sure
 
Why is it that when we're under time pressure we actually look decent? O-line holding up, quick passes to open receivers
