I usually defend Eli, considering that the last 2, 3 years his supporting cast has been less than impressive to say the least, but he was bad today. 2006 bad.

As far as I am concerned, either JPP or Tuck should be sat right now. Neither are helping the team. Give Moore some reps.

JPP. He's playing worse than last season. I can't fault the guy because he had back surgery. Honestly, I'd be pissed but I'd totally understand if he took the rest of the year off.

JPP has sucked for a few games post back surgery.

Justin Tuck has sucked since our 11-1 start back in 2008.

Easy choice for me.

We don't run a 3-4 so why would we take him? He does nothing for us. Being the best player in the MAC isn't much of a compliment, FWIW.

He's an immediate upgrade over any Linebacker we have right now. Linebacker is a hole for the Giants. Mack fixes it.

I've seen every collegiate game Mack has played. Ohio State was scared of him week 1 this year.

He's an impact player, at a position where the Giants need one. I'd be incredibly overjoyed if the Giants nabbed him.

EDIT - I guess I'm also pretty biased, so we should probably end this conversation

Sorry, Jon.

Well one guy sucked for two games this year. One guy hasn't been an impact player in several years. If I have to spell it out for you it's spelled G-E-T-R-I-D-O-F-T-U-C-K.

Except JPP had back surgery and that is having an impact on him. It should be get rid of JPP (For this season) and keep Tuck (For this season).

I DO NOT want to see JPP get worse week by week like we saw with Nicks last season.

It doesn't matter. He's not a 4-3 player and doesn't fit our scheme at all. He'd be as useless as any other 3-4 player. We only draft him if we are switching to a 3-4. And we do not have the personnel at all to do that. I understand the fact that he's a good player, but he'd be a wasted draft pick.

I know David Wilson doesn't do himself any favors with the fumbles, but my God, he has 0 O-Line support. Same goes for Eli and **** the O-Line in general.

I'm a glass half full guy...If Myers doesn't fall down he scores and 4 more points for us...How often do you get an 82 yard punt return for a TD? That's an 11 point swing right there..Eli must stop turning it over and Wilson needs to play because BJ and Scott scare nobody...BJ looks fat and slow and I was all in favor of bringing him back but his stay might be short lived...All in all I feel we can play with the Broncos but we need to clean it up...Tuck sadly looks shot and a shell of himself and JPP is gutting it out with the back thing...He still looks heavy to me ..Bottom line is 9-7 wins the EAST..It will be us.

Well, the Giants are off to a rough start, but they still had spurts of good play. Need to get their **** together, though, they're better than this.

Still can't believe the Chiefs pulled off their win by one point. If they could improve their O, they'd be a high end team. Matched that win total from las year already. :D

Does Kevin Gilbride know what a pitch or outside run is? How many times is he going to try and force a 5-9 200 pound speed back into non existent holes in the line in an attempt to gain yards...

You'd think Tuck would get his **** together in a contract year to try and impress somebody since the giants sure as **** aren't going to pay him after this year.

Seriously. Look at what Moreno did to us today on the two TDs. That's how Killdrive has to utilize Wilson.

The big issue with Gilbride is that there is no short passing game. Every pass seems like it's 30+ yards. And teams know that. He doesn't mix it up at all.
It was so glaring last year. Teams played deep and wanted the Giants to dink and dunk them. It looked like the Giants offense was figured out. People just chalked it up the Nicks being hurt. Yeah it was a problem but the bigger problem was and still is, the lack of a short/intermediate passing attack.

Being unable to run screens effectively with no run game is another problem.

At least I can take solace in my godly fantasy team. I won by 40 last week and am up 20 this week and I still have AJ Green going tonight while he has Gio Bernard.

Ugh, I'm down by 7 and change and only have the Bengals D left. My opponent has no players left at all though so it'll be a nail-biter.
