He's not been unbelievably bad this year? Really?
He's made dumb-headed plays. Really dumb plays. But for two games, he's been our offense.

I would argue that our WRs have bailed him out all season so far. Last game he was overthrowing or underthrowing them on almost every play. It was really bad. And he's been stretching the WRs out all season so far, too. He's going to get someone killed.

Im not a Giants fan but i cant blame eli for all those. may of those were bad plays by the wide recievers and if you throw as much as the giants throw there will be picks6 picks in two games.
Ugh.
Like losing the ball in the endzone that could have resulted in a TD? Or botching an easy pass that resulted in a dislocated finger? Our O-line is playing like ****. We have over 70 yards rushing..in two games. Our TE situation is a downgrade.
Three receivers had over 100 yards last week. They were not bailing him out.![]()
So any receiver that ever drops a ball is automatically going to be Eli not playing like ****? Eli can play **** with the rest of the team. And he has. He's killed this team with his stupid ****ing interceptions, too. The only one I give him a pass on is the foot-erception.
Uh, yeah. And almost all of the catches were hard to grab balls. Eli was atrocious last week and was stretching out receivers all night. Are you sure you were watching the game? Frankly, he's lucky he didn't get anyone hurt.
I see the Eli apologists are out in full force. Two **** games and he still gets a pass. I love it (not including you in that, ImIdaho).

It sounds like you weren't watching the games. He had that first play of the game pick and the second INT was miscommunication.
A QB throwing for 450 yrds is not being "bailed" out by his receivers. Eli finished the game with a 64% completion. SO how inaccurate was he?
I'm not disputing Eli can't play ****. Us being in the hole against Dallas and Denver is also a result of him. I say also because Wilson didn't help matters last game, too.
This game? Missed tackles. Us making Peyton look like a mobile QB. A fumble that should have been recovered. Randle thinking he's got an easy TD. "I'm made of glass" Nicks getting a dislocated finger because he closed his fingers too soon. A running game that is still non-existent. Like someone else said, we have a team where we have to air it out to stand a chance.
Cruz and Nicks are two star players (Nicks when healthy). Randle is a star in the making. Eli has ELITE weapons. He has all the tools and has squandered it so far this season.
I'm sorry, but the defense was fine this game. They got tired because Eli and the RBs couldn't keep the offense on the field. I normally kill Fewell, but the defense has actually been quite solid both games so far. They just get zero time to rest. That's a major problem and will come back to kill us later in the season if we somehow get in the position of making the playoffs.
@ Jonathan. Listening to the national media, local media other teams fans all week, you're the only person (and I mean literally) that thinks he Eli was bailed out by receivers against the Cowboys.Just stop. I'm done.
They had Peyton dead to rights, twice. Once in the 2nd and once in the 3rd. Peyton continued the play on one drive and he scored a TD on the second missed attempt. In the 3rd, what was Herzlich doing with that fumble? Did we sack Peyton in this one?
I'm sorry, but when you can make Peyton scramble in the pocket, avoid sacks like he did in this game, that's on the D.
