That said, you take any concussion timetable estimate with a grain of salt. The clock starts when he is symptom-free for a substantial number of consecutive days. That could be tomorrow, that can be a month from tomorrow. Not even a neurologist could know.

It was a headshot. He's got a history with concussions. Everybody knows this. Hiding information like the ever-critical "I'm not ready to play because my head hurts" has np bearing on how he protects himself when he comes back.

I'm still waiting for one poster to give me a legitimate reason why secrecy is important in a case like this.

If mario Lemieux can come clean with the fact that he had cancer, or even Kessel with testicular cancer, I think the Rangers can come out and say that Nash is not doing well, he's suffering horrible side effects, and his playing career is in jeopardy.

I agree with keeping certain things behind closed doors, but I don't understand why something like this is being kept quiet. We all know what's up. We just want to know everything, since we're information ******.
