overreaction much?

Not at all. That line up would be lucky to score three goals in a night. A blown defensive coverage here and a softie from Hank there, and the game is over. That bottom six wouldn't score at all.

So, like any team that's missing half of their top-6?

I apologize for my harshness guys, night shifts and post nasal drip have made me very grumpy.

Point is, we'd get beaten up and down the ice by any halfway decent team. Even if Hank and our D play like world beaters, only our first line as projected has any chance of causing sustained offensive pressure. Hopefully we can get some bodies back in time for the home opener.

This is what the lineup potentially would look like:

Richards-Brassard-Fast
Miller-Stepan-Zuccarello
Dorsett-Moore-Boyle
Pouliot-Powe-Pyatt

That "third line" had an amazing shift during the Washington game. Why AV put Miller back on that line didn't make sense to me. It has the potential to be a great shutdown line.

I mentioned before about Del Zotto on wing. What's the worst that would happen? He sucks during the games and then we put him back on D and roll 7 D and 11 f during the game. Picture Del Zotto in Pyatts spot, if he cam score a couple of goals, on a third or fourth line, isn't it worth a shot?

I have little confidence that any forward other than Richards is capable of scoring goals right now.

Brassard, Zucc, Pouliot, and Stepan better man the **** up and score some goals already.

What the hell???!! Just saw the news on Cally. We needed this like we needed a whole in the head.

Nash got up this morning, made some eggs, felt a little light headed, then laid down.

I'll let the Rangers know they should start a blog on his recovery from a concussion just for you.

I wonder what percentage of you 10,000+ posts does not put down someone on this board.....5%? 10?

Theres a lot of idiotic and, in this case, selfish posts on this board. I've tried to get to all of them over the past 7 years, but its really difficult.

youre one of the brightest hockey people here....if you just stopped being....the way you are...i think ppl would look forward to seeing you being the last one to reply to a thread rather than cringing they way im sure most ppl do.

It isn't too much to ask to not be left in the dark about our players.

They won't even officially acknowledge he has a concussion... nor did they last year.. despite it being obvious.

I understand we as fans have no real "right" to know this stuff or to be kept updated... but it seems other teams don't pull the crap we do.

Granted it's due to extenuating circumstances, but you'd be hard pressed to find 5 teams with a worse group of forwards than our current ones.

true, but not many teams have lost the caliber of player we have.

we have good bottom 6 depth, our problem is a lack of top 6 depth. lose 3 top 6 players, and the team looks really ugly.
