I feel Both him and Miller will be back up by November as long as they keep playing like they have to start the year

there will have to be some trades made because both of them won't fit under the cap, I'm not even sure one of them will fit under the cap without a trade first. Maybe they look to trade pyatt or boyle.

By the way, on the Yogan-Miller-Mashinter line: I could've sworn that was the way they started, but by the second half of the period, it appeared that Mashinter and Yogan had flipflopped and Yogan is now playing RW. (Speaking of that line, Mashinter shows a lot more at this level than he ever has in his callups. Uses his size well to forecheck, protect the puck and get to the front of the net.)

They just showed the replay on the PP goal and it was definitely Lindberg with the shot, not Miller.

Thats true. I guess im under the assumption that pyatt will be gone. I dont hate Pyatt but he doenst impress me

I like the NYR lineup going younger if the younger players are ready. Nothing against Pyatt or Boyle, but I think it is possible they are both moved during the season.

Lindberg shows tremendous vision and hands on this PP. He's got real talent - just needs to get used to the smaller ice surface.

Kristo with a shot, Johnson with a wide open net on the rebound, he shoots it into the goalie, and then as the rebound bounces past him he reaches out and trips the Devil defender to take a penalty.

Miller had a good wraparound chance on the 4-on-4.

Devils PP goal. Pack can't clear. Whitney shoots, rebound comes right back out to him and he buries it from 30 feet. Missiaen hasn't made any huge gaffes, but he's not exactly impressing either.

This team has a FANTASTIC forward corps, but I'm not that impressed with their veteran AHL D. Syvret and Bickel haven't been very good. Big Mac has laid some big hits and is better positionally, but isn't showing me what I need to see when handling the puck. The kid Hughes is decidedly meh too. Johnson and Allen are the only ones playing well.

Top line is buzzing. They came in 3-on-2 and Kristo fed Lindberg for a shot that Kincaid stopped with the very edge of his skate. They have the Devils on their heels.

Now, Bourque on a line change feeds Kreider who hits the inside of the post with a laser.

Getting a little chippy now on the next shift. Pack appear to be lifting their game.

Yea, Kreider just single handedly created two chances with his speed down the LW.

One was a good stop by Kincaid. The second turned into a 2-on-1, Kreider wanted to pass since he was too far towards the boards, and the dman did a good job taking away the lane so he took it behind the net.

Kreider with two FANTASTIC rushes down the LW. One where he blows by the D and forces Kincaid to make a quality pad save on a wicked wrist shot and then, 10 seconds later, he beats one D with an outside-inside move, but his partner recovers to force him wide. FLYING.

Powe is not a terrific pker he is very overrated in that department which is why he's in the AHL

Kantor with an enormous hit to force a turnover and the Jean line attacks the net for a good 15 seconds. Eventually, the Devils come back and Missiaen makes a good save on a two-on-one. Kantor then crushes another Devil into the bench. Pack now on a PP due to too many men.
