Good work by Powe, Bourque and Haley to keep the Devils out of the zone. Finally Johnson ices it and there's a faceoff in the Pack zone with about 4 seconds left. Miller wins it and Hrivik fights through to shoot it out of the zone. Pack win!

Love what I'm hearing from the Wolf pack now compared to last year. Our
D sounds a bit thin, atleast when it comes to real NHL prospects, but the forwards are much more exiting. Last year we had a struggling Kreider, a overwhelmed Miller and our only prospect that might be NHL ready out witha concussion halfway. Feeling really great to have good alternatives
if/when we get injuries during the season. Got all kind of forwards ready
to help the big club if needed, and some of them have a good chanse to become quality NHL'ers.

AHL live is so terrible.

Agreed and the prices are outrageous.

I don't understand why they can't make it more affordable for people who want to watch prospects.

$200 just to follow your teams games....

I'd like to know how many subscribers they are even getting to this service. I feel a lot of fans would follow if it was like a dollar a game or something.

loving these good vibes from the Pack. Just ask the Senators, always great to have your prospects develop in a winning culture.

Just FYI, AHL Live is $50 off through 10/15.

I made the trip over to Hartford to go to this game - XL Center is nice but that place was empty. Dunno if that was normal - but was really quiet.

Thanks to the Rangers for sending JT Miller down, he played fantastic. McIlrath had his moments, he hip checked Matteau in the boards and it was just pure awesome.

Hockeystreams is the exact same feed you get via AHL live but much cheaper AND obviously does not limit you to AHL games.

I paid $18 for one month of hockeystreams to see if I liked it. Basically broke even after watching just two Whale games, compared to what I would pay to watch 2 individual games via AHL live.

The Pack has a nice gritty team...McIlrath,Haley and Mashinter..Then you have Kreider who can throw the body and Yogan...Can we switch rosters?

Not a bad idea. The Pack would win the Calder Cup and the Rangers would be drafting No. 1 overall.

I mean if you wanna go 10-72 sure.

That's one thing I really noticed on opening night. They were outhitting Norfolk by a lot, it seemed. Michael Kantor can really lay a check too. I love the hits more than fighting. They can't become focused on that. Play physical, but not stupid. Yogan and Bickel's over-aggressiveness gave Norfolk their second goal on Saturday. Things like that need to be avoided.
