Wouldn't read too much into that Kevin. As long as the big items are done, some will take minutes to resolve. eg.

- how many members NHL and NHLPA have on discipline committee
- How many members do each get on expansion committee
- how many members do each get on relocation committee
- maximum fine for players
- number of exhibition games

and on and on.

All small issues that were already in the 300 page NHL proposal that have only been at sub-committee level.

So yes there "may" be lots, but not issues that are going to delay a deal by days.

Honestly ,, Jets will regret that contract IMO

5.2M cap hit for a dman with constant weight issues , work ethic issues and playing defense (A position honestly he is a waste of talent at)

Buff should be playing wing and one of the leagues top power forwards ,, Hawks moved him off D because he can kill team at that spot with mistakes and struggles with his positioning
