It's impossible for this guy to not come off like a conceited or arrogant jerk in an interview.

Love him as a player, but he's a turd as a person. He'll never hesitate to credit himself after a win.

I hate the celtics more than anything, but why give them any bulletin board material. This team was in the ECF last year.

I agree in general, that Carmelo can come across as pompous, but I don't see it here.

I agree with him. Who cares about the Celtics? They're a sub-500 team.
 
It's not just this particular incident. I hate the Celtics. I hate Pierce the faker. I hate Garnett the crybaby.

But if you listen to Melo's interviews...it's always...always, always always about him.

I'm a fan of of players speaking their minds and not being cliche, but sometimes you need to space it out.

Saying "we don't think about them" is BS. You should think about them. You think Peyton Manning or Keith Hernandez ever said "I'm not thinking about my tomorrow game against opponent X....."?

Or Jeter saying "we dont care about the Red Sox". Did Messier ever say "we're not concerned with the Flames" the day before the matchup?

It's BS. Just shut your mouth, give credit where credit is due and deliver on the court without coming across as the pompous ******* that he does game in and game out.

His attitude is very unbecoming of a real leader, especially in this town.
 
Boston's flopped more in this game then all the other teams we've played combined.

That goes without saying. And rivers is the biggest whiner in the league for coaches.

Still, the celtics are a team you just don't sleep on. That's why Melo's comments pissed me off.
 
Woodson is infatuated with resting everybody.

Anyway, really disgusting effort tonight. No Rondo and they're losing after three.
