Don't care much about MLB, but turned on Yanks game today and saw fans actually cheering Arod.

How the heck can anyone cheer this guy?

I don't mind Arod, and would definitely cheer for him in light of all the crap from the MLB.

He's no different than a lot of other athletes, but gets crapped on mercilessly because of his contracts and the fact that he was so good.

I was all ready to blame Andy today until I saw the recap. Bullpen blows the game and blows Andy's solid outing.

If you don't care don't comment. Hell I would cheer just because of the treatment he has received from fans in other ballparks that have players that did the same thing. Hypocrites

Hell I haven't liked many of the things ARod has done but he is a Yankee I'm a Yankee fan.

If ARod helps the team win, I have no problem with him. The trouble is that these days he is often as much of a hindrance as he is an asset, and it's trending worse.

Mo is a living legend. I'm glad to see that he's going out with a season that is up to par with the ones in his prime.

It's reasons like this I wish George was still around because this stuff NEVER would have been coming out of the mouth of the "team president"

Only reason he's on the payroll is because he worked under Giuliani's tenure in the city and knew people in the council that could help get them a new stadium when the idea first came up in the early 00s

This is the best second basemen baseball has seen in a while, the best the franchise has ever seen....just shut up Randy

My thoughts exactly when I read that. I hate Levine so much, he is such a blowhard!!!! He really needs to learn to keep his mouth shut, or just get fired.

On the plus side, another win. Somehow still in this wildcard hunt. No idea how though.

Honestly I think he's just jealous that the Yankees got all the credit for uplifting the city after 9/11 because of the playoff run. But yeah it's pretty foolish to say something that has zero basis in fact.

Even if it was true so what...it's an argument you absolutely can't win regardless.
