Jr. A teams AP players all the time.

Just an example - another potential top pick Camryn Warren played games for the Toronto Patriots in the OJHL. Or Jakko Wycisk played games for the Leamington Flyers etc.

Happens all the time, every year. Means nothing in regards to the draft.
