Kinda hoping kingston picks valentini if he is still there at 8. But have a feeling niagara picks him and trades him to London lol

I doubt Braidy Wassilyn will be available when Niagara picks. Assuming Ethan Bechetz is drafted 1st in overall by Windsor and now that Adam Valentini is rumoured to be going to the US he will likely be drafted by either Sarnia or Peterborough.

Any clue who else Sarnia might like lol. Might be a solid chance their 3 favorites (Fitzgerald, Malhotra, Valentini) are all USHL.
i dont think malholtra is ushl
i mean you never know, but some assume that its just a draft and kids go wherever, its not, the kid needs to agree to go, and im not sure wasslyn and sarnia can get there.

That's disappointing if Wassilyn wouldn't wanna come. Franchise has improved a ton under the new regime.

malholtra wont be going to sarnia, he has a deal with another team. sarnia can take him but then he will go to the ushl or try to get traded.

Who are thinking the Petes will take? I believe it will either be Braidy Wassilyn or Alessandro Di Iorio depending on who Sarnia drafts. I know there are some who thinks that they will draft Colin Fitzgerald but h is rumoured to going to the US. I think there is an outside chance they take Brady Smith
why would they take wasslyn if wasslyn isn’t goi g to go?

they just traded for 3 07s, if he doesn’t show up the picks willl be worth while. I think he will
USHL and BCHL is a step BELOW every CHL caliber game in terms of development and speed of the game. I dont understand why so many high skilled guys want to commit to those remote teams. There's no data that supports that those junior leagues are a faster path to getting paid to play hockey down the road. In fact, every non-CHL league in North America combined isnt even close to being recruited as much into the NHL as much as the CHL.. It never will be, despite hearing for the past decade: "it's changing, you watch". And... 95%+ of every World Juniors of the Canada roster is made of CHL players, its that big of a gap vs BCHL and USHL.

I have not heard that Brady Wassilyn indicated that he will not report to the Petes. Where did hear this? I would prefer they draft Alessandro Di Iorio in the 1st round but I am not sure he will be available when the Petes draft 3rd with Adam Valentini indicating he may play in the US.
