I agree with you, but these things are split second hits. Not always the hitter's fault where it lands. Look at how boarding is called. Not boarding if the hit'ee turns turns into it. You line someone up, if they turn into the hit and you hit the #, not much you can do. It's a split second move

Yeah it seems to be a cultural/background thing. I was brought up playing Aussie Rules and rugby, and the onus is always on the hitter to get it right so in most cases someone will let up if there's a chance of catching someone high. North American sports seem to have a different focus and you tend to have a lot more head high contact as a result....

Don’t worry. It’ll be Mittelstadt, which is just as bad. Imagine he gets his first goal against the team that drafted in the spot right before he was drafted. While the guy that was drafted right before him is still in the AHL.

That will be the most Ranger thing to happen.
