19 years ago today...

I celebrated the anniversary by closing on my new condo. :handclap:

Now I'll know the day for two things. Waited from 1968 until 1994 to see the Rangers win the Cup.

The Rangers winning was better - and cheaper.

I was 8 years old, watching the game with my mom. Great memories.

Best was for game 7 ECF against Devs. Was at my buddys house for his birthday sleepover. I called me mom to pick me up after the first period, cause there were to many distractions and I just wanted to watch the game. **** that birthday party.

Are we really going sit here and claim a Pink Floyd album released in 1994 was the only decent music put out that year? (and it wasn't even)

STP - Purple
Bush - Sixteen Stone
Beastie Boys - Ill Communication
Weezer - Blue Album
Nirvana - Unplugged
Megadeth - Youthanasia
The Offspring - Smash
Testament - Low
The Toadies - Rubberneck

There are a lot I'm not even thinking of.

Nope, but going to that concert was my highlight of the year

Hell, I think this was the last year I liked music.

Great album by Megadeth. Also, Queensryche's Promised Land was supposedly their last good album in a while, although I haven't heard it. Hoping that their 2013 album upcoming will be a good comeback. But I digress.

Reading the above lists, it'd be awesome if SBOB listened to the Beastie Boys. I don't know why I find that so funny.

Some sick albums.

My youth on CDs.

14 years old. What a time. 90's were great

Honorable mention for Tools Undertow in 93'

Man I love Youthanasia. Such an underrated work, I put that up against anything Megadeth has done.

I love reminiscing about music and culture from '94 because everything from that year makes me think of the Rangers :)

I'm shocked no one has mentioned Alice in chains jar of flies. Awesome album.

Yanni Live at the Acropolis is an amazing live album as well.

Both released in 94'.

Recorded in '94. Released in '95?

'94 was the last gasp of Seattle grunge. Live in NY. Superunknown. Vitalogy. Jar of Flies. Probably some others.

Musically things are so different '94 might as well be back in the Baroque era.
JOF for you

Yep. A Tout Le Monde is a classic song. The whole album is great, actually.
