9-7-2 and looking like a runaway train, entering an Islander game. Are we supposed to ROOT against this team and FOR the Islanders? Lmao. Never! 20 pts, in which maybe they should have 10? According to all the luck we have had? Cmon guys, the same way we lost and complained about having NO LUCK, some how and some way, this team is creating their luck. Please do not minimize what they have accomplished thus far, they deserve kudos, not minimization.

Anyone that isn't enjoying this, really isn't a Rangers fan. Please "ignore me".

In all fairness , part of being a long-term Ranger fan has always been envying other teams winning the cup and bitching about the team not rebuilding when they should have, so you are not wrong either way.

I know it's really early but I think David Quinn has the chance to be my favorite rangers coach ever. He's not flawless...McLeod...yuck....but he doesn't have many options ...and I really do feel like he's done an excellent job thus far.

I do like the job Quinn has done, all things considered.

Had to work hard to win this one. I think the fight helped us though and then Chytil getting his first pumped the team a little more. It's a good win.

I don't know how sustainable this is either but a bunch of our kids are taking part and taking steps forward and that's a good thing. However the rest of the year goes I don't want us to be an easy win for anybody and I certainly want us to win our next one against the Islanders.

Chytil and Howden just lead the team to a win, the former having a breakout game that seen him double his ice time in the last period. If you're complaining about that, then maybe you're just looking for something to complain about.

You don't find this team to be likeable? I like em.

I still fully expect us to be sellers.

I find the players to be extremely likable.

Lately, however, the results are trending towards another early playoff exit. What does that do for this franchise?

If you can't play well enough to win games when it matters, just lose.

But as I predicted, people get a taste of that two points and all the long-term plans are out the window.

If Lias really applies himself he should be a solid 3rd line gritty winger for us.
Damn... People felt that way about Howden when he was "thrown" in on the trade for Mcdonagh/Miller Now he looks like a 2nd line center at worst

There was a lot of good in this game, if you can manage to look at something other than Corsi events.

Sure, there was a lot of good for 20 minutes.

The first two periods were frankly, embarrassing, outside of Chytil scoring.

Agreed. He makes adjustments when he feels it’s justified.

Today was a perfect example. Spooner was up on L1, and we finished with Chytil at L1.

I’m not sure about favorite ever, but those dreamy eyes can’t be ignored.

lol it wasn't really a serious comment, more of a jab at Joe.

But yeah, that game was not ok.

All summer I was crucified for saying tanking was gonna suck. Now I'm crucified for being the only one upset about a bad win. What are we doing here? A little consistency would be great,.
It's all good....maybe they can attempt more shots after 40 minutes next game.

Vali throwing a lot of shade

I kinda get it though.

It’s aweaome the kids are performing and that’s what you want to see.

But this team looks like a team that could easily go on the opposite of this streak in short order.

So there’s a balance to be had.

It wasn't a bad win dude. They played tough. It wasn't pretty but they played hard against a good team. 13 out of a possible 14 points. 9-7-2 and tied in points for first and you still manage to bitch and moan every F'ing game. I just don't get you.

The majority of people here want to talk about the game, i.e. things that actually happened during it, not read the same tired post-game speech about how much of a bummer it is that the team can't simultaneously play like the Red Army every night and still draft 1st overall.
