Was a boring game yesterday, the guy has no panic button always calm.
Only two shifts after his goal in the third.
To be honest I've seen Seider 2 weeks ahead of the lockdown at the end of the 19/20 season in the DEL and was much more impressed.

Curios how his game looks live, hate the Arena in Innsbruck, bad sausages,
bad beer, Klatschpappen, uncomfortable seats. But I can see a Wings prospect live.
How can anyone dislike Austrian beer? I am a huge fan since I learned to drink alcohol from it on a school trip far back in the days...

One practice yesterday with Kronwall probably hasn't had that much of an effect.

One reported so far. Kronwall is in constant contact with the Wings kids over in Sweden. Berggren, Kasper, Seider, Raymond, Edvinsson, Johansson and Wallinder all met with him regularly through the season for extra practices and to pick apart their games. That's been posted on these forums several times.

I know its early and he'll undoubtedly slow down and there's more to the game than just scoring goals... but looking at his line so far compared to other Wings prospects who went through the SHL is pretty eye opening.

Yeah, he's scoring more than the forward prospects did.

I wanted Moore more. Maybe he changes my mind. (Moore has 4 assists in 2 games.) There's always the possibility that they both turn out to be stars, 2 rights don't make a wrong, lol.

He doesn't just lead defensive rookies in goals. He leads ALL Defensemen in goals PERIOD. Absolutely insane. And if you watch the highlights, these aren't garbage goals either. These are top shelf, picking the corner type goals.

I think he's going to end up being one of the top players from the draft.
I agree that he may end up as one of the best from this class. I will say, I was somewhat pessimistic when this pick was made (I wanted Benson then Danielson or Moore). I had it in my head that he was just a decent skater that was a good puck distributor and that he was soft. After watching him some, he has definitely changed my mind. Kid is dynamic with the puck and his defense is not soft and has been improving rapidly.

I have visions of watching teams try to contain him, Edvinsson, Wallinder, and Seider as they skate it up ice. If they all stay healthy and iron out the kinks in their games, things could be very exciting here very soon.

Still pretty bummed about Benson.

The way the elite players in this game are playing now are doing so with elite deceptive edges that they use like a 2nd set of elite hands with excellent vision. The Hughes brothers (namely Quinn and Jack thus far), Makar, Karlsson, Kaprizov just to name a few. He seriously looks the part (like when he walks the line) and is in that size range as all of them as well... And he's a strong kid!

He will be deadly on the smaller ice once he's even stronger and faster. Game by game he is getting more and more confident in all 3 zones the way a top 3 pick normally would. 17th overall? *Laughs in Craig Button*

He just continues to check more and more boxes and it's so early in his D+1. Knowing that his D game is growing this fast too, how can you not be super excited when you watch?

It's a great time to be a DRW fan :yo:

The whole population might be gone as almost everyone here questioned this pick.
Yeah, I was pretty agnostic about the pick but still on the disappointed side. Props to the original believers - he had a couple guys on the prospects board claiming he was worth a top 5 pick - but I think the concern with him was legit. It’s not often a defenseman of his stature can play the position this well.
