Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. The guy who's probably been the worst forward on the team this season? No why would you do that? He wouldn't be out of the lineup, he can go where he belongs, on the 4th line. I know it's not going to happen, but it should.

I'm proud of this board for being mature of this loss. We'll lose more games, multiple more games, if they lose games like this it'll be a lot less painful. Also, it wasn't one of those put 45 shots on net losses where we dominated which is frustrating in its own right.

Here's a dollar. Go buy a clue. He's done everything this team has asked. On pace for 35-40 points, can move up and down lineup and play multiple positions, does well on faceoffs and is good defensively.

Issues are magnified when we play tight games against top teams.
-our 'top' center is no where near his standard
-Goodrow in the top6
-3rd pair
-shoot mas. It was going so well the past 3 games. Why get away from what was working?
The obvious answer, to me at least was

Kreider Zibs Chytil - add some energy to make up for tofuMike.
Laffy Goodrow Gauthier
Hunt Rooney Reaves
or switch Laf and Goodrow, since Chytil and Gauthier are the ones carrying the play. Goodrow would be a nice support to them..

The third pairing is a disaster. They have been doubled up in Corsi and expected goals all season. It's like facing the best line in the league every time they are on the ice.

They played well tonight also. They just played a team that is good and has won 10 of 11. I don't understand the problem.

There's issues that need to be addressed. Ignoring them doesn't make them go away.
I do not want 'well they're a good team and we tried'.... I want 'what can we do better, to beat them?' ' What are the issues that can be corrected'

You said they got away from things that they did last 3 games. Only thing that was different is who they played. They played well. Yes, they aren't perfect. I get it. I would like to see Jones also. I just think he's going to be down at Hartford for a while longer. I trust Gallant to make the right decisions about what is best for this team.
