Man, this board will find the most negative shit to say about a 4 game winning streak and 10-3-3 record. Every take is negative it's just f***ing exhausting. We got dominated by the Panthers because we were up 4-0, and we won. And the Devils and Blue Jackets have had good starts to their season. But sure let's take the most negative possible take on a 4 game winning streak. This board f***ing sucks ass nowadays.

Sucks to say but it's pretty much why I don't check in anymore. I use to read a lot of threads throughout the game and everyday during downtime at work.

The amount of negativity around here is a bummer. Hockey makes me happy. I'm 38 and still find time to play 3x a week at the Crack of shit. I never stopped skating, I watch a lot of Ranger games. I still can't wait for them to start on game days.

This place use to be filled with like minded individuals. Now I barely check in.

When I search the only places that call themselves New York Pizza is this one:

That doesn't look like New York pizza to me, pretty thick & also looks like a harder crust that you wouldn't be able to fold without it cracking. Out of the big chain pizza restaurants I'd say Papa Johns is probably the most similar? Still nothing like it though

That's because if you look at the wildcard standings so many other teams have had good starts and have games in hand. They have an 8.2% chance of winning the Metro because of Carolina and Washington.

Meanwhile, their record would be the best in the West.

Every game is going to be a must win this entire year. Crazy.

Those numbers mean nothing. What is true is that over the last 20 years teams that are in playoff position on Thanksgiving have a 77% chance of getting in. I guess 3 point games have a lot to do with it.

Ah that’s an Ooni. I have the Ooni 3. The key is you gotta let the oven preheat a while so the stone gets nice and hot. Also depends on what kind of pizza you wanna make. Those ovens make great Neapolitan but they’re hard to make NY style. You gotta preheat the oven at max temp then when you launch the pizza, turn the flame down otherwise the pizza will cook too fast and it won’t be thin and crispy. Some tips for launching pizza off the peel: put a little flour or cornmeal on the peel so the dough doesn’t stick, also if it’s still sticking as you’re trying to launch the pizza lift up a corner of the pizza and blow underneath it, the pizza should start to slide on the peel again.

So far, Nemeth is late-stage Marc Staal without the whole "we have to play him a ton because he's Marc Staal" thing. Which is an improvement in and of itself I guess.

I at least have not noticed some baffling d-zone giveaway by Nemeth on a consistent basis, or failure to clear the crease leading to an easy rebound goal or a deflection off of Nemeth. Seemed like Staal also did all of those things rather consistently late in his time here, but that also may have happened simply because he was playing more each game and had more opportunity to do so

I'm pretty sure Lundkvist has like 5 minutes of ice time all season without Nemeth at 5v5.

And Nemeth playing without Lundkvist usually happens late in games when we're getting caved in just trying to hold on for the win.

May not be enough data, but it seems to be saying the opposite of how Gallant is using them.
