GG well played by the leafs, Rangers had a few great rushes and scoring chances but Campbell played great, especially on that Trouba shot, Kreider and Panarin shots. Happy we beat the Habs, I'll take this L, we're in great position and have a few days of rest now.

Mika caused 2 huge f*** ups by falling in the last minute of the game smh

He was a drag on the team at the end. If he wasn’t out there we would’ve been better off.

He looks absolutely atrocious offensively right now. Literally everything about his game is off. This isn’t a snake bitten player who looks great but can’t get any luck, he looks terrible. Falling down, fanning on shots, mishandling pucks, a step slow all night, playing passively. He looks like another player. It’s brutal.

I think our star players not getting on the scoreboard was the difference tonight.

Panarin had a decent third period.

I maintain that we aren't going to get much from Zib until he has a right winger that deserves to play in the top 6.

Fox was solid, Kakko got an assist, Miller looked fantastic - those stars were good.

Strome looked outclassed in every way tonight. We aren't going to beat these types of Trotz-like teams without winning face-offs. We start every play without the puck and need to chase it - that's not a formula for success against good defensive teams.

Frustrating loss, but can't be too upset; we played well for the most part.

We should've had like 5 powerplays in the last 5 minutes.

Now granted I only caught 40 mins of that game, that’s a loss I can still go to bed happy with. That was a “good” loss.

Team came to play against the hottest team in the league. Especially in the third they did some really good things. The refs were fully rooting for Toronto there, I’m not sure it could have been more obvious. Might have been a different game if they weren’t.

Lots of stuff let go by the refs tonight. Holl in particular is Mayfield esque with all of the obstruction that he commits on a shift by shift basis.

Reilly scored 2 goals. One of their stars showed up and won them the game. Didnt see the first 2 periods but saw a lot missed by the refs in the 3rd for sure.

A bad goal was the difference tonight.

I honestly didn't hate the effort tonight. They played even 5v5 against arguably the best team in the league tonight.

I kinda lost interest at the very end when it became obvious the refs were tilting the ice for the home team. But other than that I thought overall the Rangers showed a lot of good things. Kinda surprised the big guys didn't show much Kreider, Fox, Panarin, Strome were not what you need them to be in games like this.

Yes, I saw him, you must not have been paying attention, had a few big hits, just couldn't get open, the Leafs were the better team had much better legs.

Every loss we have this year SHOULD end with us pressing hard for the last 10 minutes. Toronto's big offensive guns did fck all but their defensive stick work, their good luck, and NYR lack of polish made them hold on. Reminded me wins we used to have back in the King/McD days

Agree, not gonna be upset over this loss, we didn't suck, or get blown out, lost by 1 goal to one of the best teams in the East. We're right up there with them. 4 game losing streak ends, now we start over.
