I like Gauthier snd think he should play. But howden is a center... why would howden of all people come out for a guy who doesn’t play his position?

Jack is going to be all over the ice tonight. At one point he will somehow wind up sitting in Philly's bench next to JvR.

He will be the 7th man on the ice when we pull George, and shoot the puck over the boards getting us both a too many men penalty AND the first offensive zone delay of game call because f*** jack Johnson.

This is definitely the reason. I personally would have sat Kreider tonight and put Gauthier in his spot. None of PDG, Rooney, or Blackwell (obviously) deserve to sit.

Doesn't really matter how good our goaltending is untill our offense and PP gets it together. I think Georgijev will give us a chance to win and that's all that can be asked from a backup. He did so against the Bruins last time...
