I understand he occasionally has looked lost in the D zone but he was still learning the system. In the regular system he’s been good enough. I think the whole defensive liability narrative gets over blown because he’s offensive. Ie Offensive defenseman means he’s not defense

Yes, even Staal looks decent. If we kept these pairings the same way until the end of the season, I would be very happy.

They worked pretty well last game, too. And the Ducks may suck, but on paper, they aren’t that bad.

And it doesn’t really matter. We’ve looked bad against bad teams sometimes, and good against good teams sometimes thus far. It’s still the NHL.

That was a bs penalty on Kreider. I know it’s unnecessary and everything but he held up completely and just shoved the guy. The only other option is to not finish his check.

The ref right there didn’t call it. Idk just seems weak to me. I feel like that’s a play most NHLers make: to hold up on the hit and shove the guy as like a push off to skate away. More of a penalty bc Kreider is strong and the guy flew down.

In college they’d had student tickets for $6.50. And my buddy knows a trick to sneak into the middle level club section and we’d sit down there
