I inadvertently agreed to a first date tonight. Obviously I'm taking her to Ainsworth to watch the Rangers. haha

I don't miss Ranger games....period...

lot of negativity in this thread, for some reason. Yes, this is the pot calling the kettle black, but we've won 3 in a row. No need for negativity.

I like the moves. Gives Miller another shot to impress, Boyler a chance to fight for his spot in the line up, and let's Kreider know he has to be better.

7-2 NYR

Scorers..

Stralman 2
Gabby 1
Hags 1
Staal 1
Stepan 1
Asham 1

Nash and Richards with 3 assists tonight..

Dude, chill out, and let it go. Why are you so vehemently against the poor guy, the hell did he do to you? I don't agree with the decision either, but Jesus, all you ever post about is how Boyle sucks. We get it.

Dude, if you are going to claim that Boyle had a much better career at BC to strengthen an argument it would be courteous of you to not be talking out of your arse. And he doesn't suck.

LGR!!

Good luck to you sir!

Boyle lovers unite around the art of sarcasm; very nice.

So you classify yourself as a Boyle Hater than? We are good with that name?

So many jokes I want to make involving your date, scoring and Stepan and I'm just holding back. ;)

Agreed. Kreider doesn't necessarily "deserve" a benching, but he hasn't done much to impress either, especially compared to the rest of the bottom six. Gotta give Boyler a chance to get back in there before he gets too stale as well. I also like this little nudge in advance of a game that has a serious risk of complacency associated with it.

Did you watch Boyle and Kreider in college regularly? Because I know Fitzy did. I was around when he would discuss them.

From what I remember if Boyle he was a more physically dominating presence consistently than Kreider. I would say Boyle was better in college throughout that part of his career than Kreider.

That's fine. You are entitled to that opinion. I would disagree. But the numbers and the honors tell a different story. But if you are basing your position on what you saw, I cannot argue with that.

I did. It's really a matter of opinion. But when you say someone had a much better career as opposed to was a much better player you are drawn to numbers and honors. And in that light CK was better.

If there's this much level of dissent before a Rangers game, I can't wait to see what happens if the Islanders were to take the lead.

Good luck to you sir!

No, I am a Boyle skeptic. I have season tickets and see alot of games without the prism of Sam and Joe, and BB looks alot worse in person than he does on TV with those two emphasizing his good moments and ignoring his bad ones. He's a good 4th line center. I would like him to be used that way; that's pretty much it. My opposition to him entering the lineup tonight is more about fixing what ain't broke. He just happens to be the guy who Torts is using to make the fix.

Whoever scores first for the Rangers tonight gets to be my official Valentine, as displayed in my avatar until the end of the next game, even if it's Gilroy.

Talk about incentive.

Imagine if Boyle scores a goal, works both ways.

Boyle scores the only goal in regulation, but the Isles tie it up with only 4 seconds left.

Torts puts a fast one on us and he put Boyle up first in the shootout. He misses. It's okay. Nash scores and that's all it takes to win.

After the game, thread gets flooded with Torts sucks, is an idiot, Boyle blows, and Nash only scores meaningless goals.

This made me laugh way too hard. Especially the last part.

After reading 89 million comments, many OT, I don't mind seeing Boyle back to see how he reacts to the scratches. Only blemish is scratching Kreider, he needs time and chemistry too. I tend to think many already see him as an established player, when in reality he is only 20 in his rookie season... he too needs development and ice time.

4th line set in stone IMP, Asham and Powe around Halpern... what more can one ask for, two of them Penalty Killers giving the others a rest...

Wonder what it would look like if Gabby, Richards and Nash played on 3 separate lines.
