Normally I wouldn't comment on random Twitter posts, but I couldn't help it when I saw this one. At that point, it was looking like Slafkovsky could be our pick at #2, so I was naturally looking up stuff on him.
There was so much Montreal based anti-Slafkovsky posts since they had ordained that Shane Wright was going to be their McDavid/Matthews franchise center and that it was insulting if you didn't think Wright was a slam dunk #1 overall pick. A few of them were certain that the chatter about Slafkovsky going #1 was some phony narrative to "boost" interest in the draft.
Anyways, this guy using the clown gif while not being self-aware of his clown take was too good for me to ignore. After Montreal drafted Slafkovsky, I think I responded with something like "Good luck with Slafkovsky, I think he's better than you think."

People cant imagine how badly not smart some part of mtl fan base is. And they were very lucky to draft Slafkovsky and have opportunity to draft Demidov.

He was a subscriber before but after some time he wasn't. In one interview few weeks ago he said that he doesn't understand what Devils organization is thinking about him. After his start he started to follow Devils organization and giving likes again. So I believe connection was reconnected.

Gets a breakaway in OT. Gets hauled down and draws a penalty shot. Kuzy is given the shot and he does his Kuzy thing to win it
And he scores. Enters the zone, crosses to the middle, throws a nothing shot on net from far out and it goes in. Disguised the shot pretty well though

And adds an assist. He forces a turnover on the wall then his one timer is stopped in the slot and Glotov puts in the rebound
He almost had another assist earlier in the game off of forcing a turnover. He got in on the forecheck and ended up falling down but the D fell over him too, he picked up the puck behind the net and backhand sauced it to Nikishin at the dot but he was stopped

Holy f*** the goal SKA just scored. The cycle of Kuzy/Demidov was f***ing silly and then Demidov sends a cross ice feed to Plotnikov back door. Insane SKA has been benching their clear best forward so much because he won’t sign with them.
