Which understandable since he was gone for 3 years. I'm sure we'll have first crack at him when he's ready.

I remember when Ranger first made news during Marlies training camp people were talking about how he had felt that he didnt have the ability to handle playing in the NHL. Not sure if its true, but I am glad that he has learned from past "mistakes" and wants to make his return at his own pace.
Ranger didnt come back to hockey to play in the AHL. I am sure he has has NHL ambitions... it just has to be when he is ready. I respect that.
