I'm okay with Desharnais, just not at center and not with high usage. He's a good 3rd line winger, better than someone like Vesey, Grabner or Fast. Play him at center or higher in the lineup, and he gets exposed.

Start of the shoot out......My 4 year old asked me to put her to just as zuc scored.....without thinking i got up with her and went to put her to sleep. SO SICK OF THE SHOOT OUT. I literally dont care anymore when games go to the shoot out.

Fast: career high in points in 30. On pace for 48 points, but he's shooting 27%. If that reverts back to his career percentage, thats 38 points.

Grabner: On pace for 45 points, but he's shooting 22%. If he shoots his career percentage this season, he'll score about 28 points.

Desharnais: On pace for 40 points, shooting below his career percentage. Also playing lower minutes than the other two.

It's been 3/4 years. He is what he is, let's not fool ourselves. But, he is much better than he was today.

DD is a passenger collecting some free points. He's had about 3 good plays all year.

Maybe the worst game we played all year and early on we played some really awful ones. One player showed up and that was Pavelec. No disrespect to Henrik but that's probably the best goaltending performance we've had in any single game this year and might be the best we have all year. Pavelec was awesome and spectacular. He deserved much better than the putrid effort the rest of the team put in and getting a point out of this game is kind of a minor miracle.

Not that Desharnais had an awful shootout attempt but Buchnevich having the best puck skills (other than maybe Zuccarello) should have been the second guy up IMO.
