This is why you don’t speed up a rebuild if everything isn’t ready. You can’t force that. And now, we pay the ultimate price.

It's not too late.

Kreider and Trouba should be moved as soon as possible. Strome at the deadline or before. Just cause Panarin and Zibanejad are locked in here doesn't mean everything is nailed to the floor.

Honestly, you could send all the kids down bring up the likes of Bitetto and Gettinger and let the chips fall with another lotto pick.

It would send a message that would probably be good for kids to hear to course correct their development. We should also immediately trade Strome and send a message to the vets as well.

Not here to play patty cake with your friends. Not here to DJ NY clubs or be fashion icons. You’re here to play hockey. If the distractions in NY are too much, we’ll trade you somewhere else so you can focus on your career… as a hockey player. Not an influencer. Not a DJ. Not a soccer star’s trophy husband.
I like Gallant's system but maybe there was some merit to those who said Mr. Buddy Buddy isn't what we need right now.

I would leave Lafreniere in Western Canada and let him contemplate his play on the coach flight home.

Last night's loss was on GG for starting Georgiev. We were never winning this game, plain and simple. How does a professional coach f*** up such an easy decision.

Can't wait to hear his bull shit post game presser about how he's "6-3-3 and happy with where the teams at"

My guy, the only reason you have 5 of those wins are because Shesty is other worldly. Have not seen or heard one impressive thing about Gallant thus far. His lineup decisions are f***ing mind boggling to say the least

The entire organization, from the owner down to the broadcasters, refuses to acknowledge the elephant in the room. They should be replacing everyone who has ever interacted with Kakko and Laf and restart them in the AHL. Instead, they won’t even acknowledge there’s a problem here.

The culture of this team is rotten to the f***ing core. The T - Birds have a grip on that locker room. We need to send in sandy and break em up

Were actually about to have back to back lottery picks bust, not even the goddamn Sabres managed to that

Neither goalie was gonna steal either game the way they played, we're lucky we got one point.

Bedard or Michkov would be amazing.

Then again, we aren't having the best of luck with top 10 picks.

Posted this in the Kakko thread:

Fun fact: If Kakko busts, that'll be 9 straight top 10 picks that have either busted or had their relationship with the team demo'd.

Manny Malhotra (1998), Pavel Brendl (1999), Jamie Lundmark (1999), Dan Blackburn (2001), Al Montoya (2004), Dylan McIlrath (2010), Lias Andersson (2017), Vitali Kravtsov (2018).

Arguably 11 straight depending on your view of Nicklas Sundstrom (1993) (add him and Jayson More (1987) to the list). 10 or 12 straight if Lafreniere busts too.

The streak ends there... With Brian f***ing Leetch (1986).
