That was so terrible. What makes games like this unbearable is two announcers who refuse to say talk about how bad it is. Doesn't management realize that when our own announcers pretend like it's not that bad it makes them sound like they don't care? It reallllllly breaks whatever bond an announcing team is supposed to have with a fanbase.

But you'd think being down 3-0 the team would at least show up in the 3rd and show something. And you'd think Gallant would put Kakko on another line for more than 1 f'ing shift when you have 15 minutes to experiment. Very very very disappointed in the whole situation right now. Too many really bad decisions going on with coaching and management right now.

The team is broken because whatever system they're supposed to play, few of them are committing to it. It's a disjointed mess with on buy-in. We keep relying on the same vets, the same damn players that got us nowhere last year. If we're going to look like hot garbage at least give the kids more opportunity.

Nemeth and Tinordi are only going to look good on a team that has tremendous buy-in. Same with Trouba and Miller. Same with Goodrow and Hunt.

The only thing I know for sure right now -- watching this team is not good for any fan's health. It's not a team at all in fact. It's just a bunch of guys who happen to be wearing the same color uniform.

Zibanejad and Panarin, 6 and 4 even strength points in 11 games. As much as we shit on the kids, here's the real issue.

Well the real issue is that no one is scoring including the kids, and it's evidence that there is something terribly wrong for everyone.

My primary assumption is that it has something to do with the team's dumbass decision to get worse players in the offseason and get rid of better ones all on the basis of a single characteristic that got massively overrated by some of the greybeards and homers around here, and then stress that characteristic until everyone forgot how to play actual hockey.

Honestly, you could send all the kids down bring up the likes of Bitetto and Gettinger and let the chips fall with another lotto pick.

It would send a message that would probably be good for kids to hear to course correct their development. We should also immediately trade Strome and send a message to the vets as well.
