I don't see how that's any different than what I said.

Because it's incredibly subjective. You're evaluating a player based on what you perceive to be going through another player's head.

Because I'm thinking what I'd think of Boyle if I was a player. Obviously Boyle could kick my ass. But if I was a professional NHL player, I don't think I'd have much of an issue going up against Brian Boyle.

I don't know. I'm not his best friend. In my opinion, he's a tough hockey player. Disagree with it all you like.

Just like you hate Rick Nash. I'm not gonna change that. Quite frankly, he could play well and score goals, and he wouldn't change that.

Still not fair to call Boyle 'soft' when he obviously isn't.

Again, I don't consider putting yourself in an imaginary situation and evaluating your thoughts in it a good means of evaluating a player, either.

No, but that's how this argument started. Somebody called him soft, we tried to say he wasn't and brought his hitting-stats in to prove our point.

I don't think he's soft. And I understand that bringing stats into play is a way of arguing that point. I just don't agree that him being 14th in hits makes him so tough because I've watched Brian Boyle and he's not tough IMO. Tough to play against? Hell yes, blocks shots, always in good position, very good defensive player, good at face-offs. Tough? I don't think so.

Again, somebody called him soft and the argument started. Nobody said he was 'tough' which maybe he isn't in the traditional sense, but he certainly is not soft.

It's dumb for them to show that 49'ers superbowl commercial now that its passed and they lost. "It's only weird if it doesn't work" - It didn't work

Oh God, we are going to have to hear about how Hamilton is Jesus again, ****ing hell!

lol forgot about that.

"Now this kid is a-he's a superstar already. I mean, he's just a star in this league. Look at the way he moves. Watch him move. Just watch him. Watch him. Watch him. Watch. Lookit, lookit, lookit, lookit how he stands there. So poised. He's a star."

Wait what? The game is on MSG too? Since when isn't NBCSN exclusive?

They're only allowed to broadcast 7 games from each team as exclusives this year. I'm not sure if that's an overarching agreement with NBC that includes both NBC and NBCSN or it pertains to all teams on all national broadcasts.
