Secondly, for head phones, i've always been interested in the airpod max from apple, we took the kids to the zoo in philly a week or so ago and saw someone on the temple campus wearing them

If you want them for the look or the ease of integration with the Apple ecosystem, enjoy the hell out of them. If you want to prioritize value for the cost or want to pay a premium price for premium sound, look elsewhere.

There's not a thing wrong with either answer.

At this point im in deep with apple. I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max, iPad Mini, iPad 9th Gen, 5th Gen Apple Watch, Apple TV, iMac (which i don't use) and Air Pods Pro.

I did recently get a Samsung Galaxy Tab 8 though, and android was much easier to get used to then I thought.

I use the AirPods. I don’t like the pro’s though. I basically use it for the easier compatibility & I like the smaller rounded off earbuds so I can lay down on my side while having them in.

Stuff like this has been happening since Elvis.

The difference is that Elvis (and other insanely famous musical acts like The Beatles, Michael Jackson, Madonna, etc.) had unforgettable smash hit songs that will stand the test of time. Taylor Swift has hit songs because of who she is, not because they are particularly memorable or good. I listen to every genre of music and can't name 3 Taylor Swift songs. People seem to love her more than her music. It's cult-like.

They make a boatload of money but it must suck not being to just go out to bar restaurant as someone super famous. Can’t even go out, have some drinks, & be normal like everybody else.
Must not suck too bad. Swift could absolutely f*** off somewhere and live in anonymity with the amount of money she has

Maybe people are a bit more chill in Europe...

but for example guys like Ronaldo, Haaland (superstars) etc when in Manchester... yeh... ofc dont live a normal life and people ask for autographs, but a lot of the soccer stars in Manchester wander around with maybe one bodyguard with them (or no-one in some cases.)

Personally have seen Raheem Sterling, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Vincent Kompany, Sergio Aguero, Jamie Carragher in public, as well as a few boxers (Ricky Hatton, Tony Bellew) in public... and people kind of just whisper to friends or ask for an autograph, but cannot imagine people really mobbing them unless a massive group of fans of their club outside the stadium etc.

One of my best friends lives right near Kevin de Bruyne and goes to same golf club, walks dogs in same park and while one of the best ~5 or so players on earth people kind of leave him be aside from autograph requests.

Robinho used to take the public buses when in Manchester ahaha.

Taylor Swift is on the Ronaldo and Haaland tier here in the States. She's probably one of the very few people that would garner that type of reaction off the top of my head.

Yeah to be fair whether you like her music Taylor Swift is on another level than pretty much 99% of famous people. So this type of thing is in the more rare end.

Like there’s popular athletes here in Philly that definitely draw bigger than normal crowds for places when they’re out it’s not like everything needs to be shut down now type of crowds.

Yeh, but Haaland walks around Manchester on his own at times and just gets photo and autograph requests and the odd person telling him he signed for the wrong club aha.

Same for Ronaldo when he lived in MCR.

Albeit they all live in the posh southern suburbs where most of their neighbours are millionaires as well (or at least have salaries of say $150,000+ a year). So there? Can go to cafes, the bar etc and mostly no problems.

Biggest issue that superstars face here is their houses being robbed when playing a concert or game aha. Manchester and Liverpool especially are famous for it.

I mean she was supposedly there for a friend's wedding rehearsal. People should be able to live their lives without that level of bullshit.

I just can't comprehend what the people that mob the place are hoping to get out of it. See her for a split second? Befriend her? She's going to put on a concert?
Swift manufactured her celebrity and capitalizes off of obsessive behavior. She could absolutely live a normal life if she wanted to.

Speaking of insanely famous people...

drove past Madonna's house the other day. Pretty much a paradise palace in one of the most beautiful places in Europe.

Always hear rumours/stories of her just randomly chilling in Lisbon bars... jamming once every now and again ahaha.

The bride and groom are celebrities themselves (Jack Antonoff and Margaret Qualley), just nowhere near the level of Swift.
